  1. AB's is a more accurate portrayal of sample size than years. Especially because Drew may not have been in that spot for all of 12 years. There are many ways to manipulate that statistic, so it doesn't help your cause.
  2. He's also consistent. You have a good idea at what you're going to get from him instead of Green/Lugo.
  3. If there's no money involved and space available, then I'll participate.
  4. Pathetic enough to be a top 5 in the MLB. Heck, we were 2nd in the majors in most offensive categories (except 3B's) behind Coors East.
  5. NBA Jam Style? He's heating up.....
  6. Let's just say he did a few "favours" for the mods. Besides, with him back it seems that this board is infested with Yankee fans. We're actually crawling with them.
  7. Your posts are indeed better when they are 4 words or less. You should aim for that parameter.
  8. Don't encourage Jacko. He was too much when he didn't know that there was someone dumber than he is.
  9. That picture looks better with the obligatory purse attached to A-rod's arm.
  10. Check that, PWNdroia has already gotten served.
  11. You are about to get served.
  12. Damn it, one of my roomates is from El Paso and convinced me to go with UTEP. M*****f*****.
  13. Nice, I had Murray State over Vanderbilt. Then again I thought that all 4 seeds were weak and rated too high. At one point my bracket had all 4 13's beating the 4's, but I changed 1 or 2 of them.
  14. I think that if our potential back up SS is the worst of our problems (instead of the offense or bullpen) then we're in pretty f***** good shape. The point is, we have options, so there's no use in applying the doomsday theory to Jed Lowrie's annual injury.
  15. But it was before Papi and JD Drizzle got to him. Long before.
  16. Notre Dame and Florida losing in the first round. There couldn't be a better start to the tournament. Now if only Syracuse would lose in the first round and be the first men's #1 to lose to a #16 and I'd be set for life. Granted, it would screw up my bracket, but watching Syracuse go down would be worth a poor bracket.
  17. We got Miguel Celestino from the Mariners to complete the Hall/Kotchman trade. Add another arm to the mix. The Red Sox acquired right-handed pitcher Miguel Celestino from the Mariners, completing the Jan. 7 trade that sent first baseman Casey Kotchman to the Mariners for infielder Bill Hall and cash. Celestino, 20, went 5-3 with a 4.73 ERA in 13 games (12 starts) for rookie-level Peoria of the Arizona League in 2009, allowing 35 earned runs in 66 2/3 innings. He tossed at least five innings in 10 of his 13 appearances and had a 13-inning scoreless streak from Aug. 11-16. Originally signed by Seattle as an international free agent on Dec. 16, 2006, Celestino pitched in the Dominican Summer League from 2007-08. http://www.nesn.com/2010/03/red-sox-get-miguel-celestino-from-mariners-to-complete-casey-kotchmanbill-hall-trade.html
  18. The Patriots do have 3 2nd round picks, so if they were to stash a pick, this would be the year to do it. That said, they have a lot of more important and immediate needs than at QB, so they shouldn't waste a 1st or one of their 3 2nd rounders on it. Maybe a 3rd or later.
  19. Besides, it's not like the Yankees won't ever get him. If he turns out to be as good as advertised he'll probably end up in NY when he hits Free Agency. One can consider his time in Toronto a "scouting" period.
  20. It seems that everyone that hates the Patriots is joining the Jets. Maybe that should be the NYJ selling pitch to free agents.
