  1. I wish that I could kick every UCONN player in the balls right now. They just played themselves out of the tournament, and they are a better team than most of the teams they lost to (ie Michigan, Cincinnati, South Florida, Providence, Notre Dame) and even though they got screwed in their fair share of games (Louisville, Marquette, Syracuse, Kentucky) there's no excuse in losing to so many s***** teams. I'm fed up with this season so I'm not even going to fill out a bracket this year. The only thing that is moderately decent in this sports world is that Syracuse is losing--albeit in the one scenario that I would consider rooting for them.
  2. Hey Dojji, can you see Dipre's post now?
  3. He was traded in December to Baltimore for Chris Ray and a PTBNL, which was Ben Snyder.
  4. Plus, don't forget that Cromartie wants to play man defense, which is something he didn't get to do that much in San Diego and will get to do loads of in New York. I think that the Jets will be a great fit for him. And it's well worth a 2nd/3rd round draft pick in 2011.
  5. If only your trolling went with it.
  6. Steve Begin ain't nobody's b****. Suck on that Colton Orr.
  7. Looks like Crosby got decked in the face for flopping in the Pitt/NYR game. Why couldn't this have been in the Olympics when I'd be watching?
  8. House is doing pretty good as well. Granted he started off hot, and it's obviously a small sample size, but he's still looked good nonetheless with 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists compared to career averages of 7.6/1.7/1.6 respectively.
  9. True, but my point was to contrast SunLife Stadium with the Launching Pad Formally Known as Yankee Stadium with respect to Hanley and Jeter's numbers.
  10. I said I agree and referenced a specific part of his post, you know, the part of Keeper's post that I agreed with. Notice how you simply cut out the "I agree" part of my post and the "idiot" part of his post, when there was more to both. I knew you were stupid and trolling but I never would have imagined that you'd be elementary as well.
  11. What kind of mental gymnastics did you undergo to arrive at that conclusion? I agree to nothing of the kind. That's quite the abstract leap dude, even for you.
  12. I agree. I only said that IF a woman were to make it in the big leagues, it would have to be through some unconventional method such as a knuckleballer. I never said, or implied, or even remotely hinted, that this particular knuckleballer would make the big leagues. I never said anything about Yoshida being a major league candidate.
  13. I agree with Jacko that the only logical way for a woman to make it to the big leagues is by some unconventional manner (ie knuckle ball) because the likelihood of a woman being able to throw high heat or hit 450 ft bombs is about the same as the likelihood that Jacko and I will agree on something, ie 1 in a million. While I agree with you Jacko, you aren't clean on this either. It's funny that YOU, of all people, call other posters stupid and unfounded. You are quick to call Dojji and Bsox stupid in the thread for disagreeing while you completely ignore the fact that you are among the site leaders in stupid posts. You might not be the number 1 leader persay, but you're up there.
  14. Are you the first person to make their own thread advertising that they are back after a ban?
  15. I'm a Flyers fan. I hate Crosby. I guess I was too subtle with the Mike Richards clue. Anyway suffice it to say that I don't care for Crosby very much.
  16. Today hasn't been that bad. Every Canadian I know is talking s*** about the game, but thank god I only know 2 of them. Plus, there's a lot of material to defend oneself with anyway... I just wish it wasn't Crosby that did it. I think if Richards had scored the goal I'd be happier.
  17. Looks like we DFA'd Gaby Hernandez as a result, according to Ian Browne. Also Fien's BB/9 and K/9 were 2.3 and 10.2 respectively in 58 innings in AAA.
  18. Two festively plump, nonchalant and melaninally advantaged lefties who can't field? Other than age and potential steriods it seems close enough to me. Maybe it'll be like we signed Ortiz in 2003 all over again.
  19. And we can pretend that Ortiz never left, we can give Fielder Ortiz's jersey and pretend that nothing happened.
  20. It's like they are perpetuating every Canadian stereotype imaginable. And it's sort of funny.
  21. Damn, oh well, the US gave it their best shot and almost won gold, considering that everyone wrote them off from the beginning. The US still did great and had an amazing showing at the Olympics. Beating Canada in their own house at their own sport was too much to ask for this time.
  22. Ditto, I was watching the game until it was 2-0 Canada, shut it off and haven't turned it on since. Especially now. I'm keeping it off until it's over.
  23. This has been one of the worst sports weekends for me. Every team I wanted to lose ended up winning (Notre Dame, Xavier, Syracuse, Ole Miss, Miss State, Marquette, Oklahoma State) and the one team I wanted to win (Uconn) ended up losing in the final seconds vs. Louisville. Not to mention my NBA team losing and team USA losing to Canada in hockey, this hasn't been my sports weekend. I must have run over a car filled with babies and puppies that took out a homeless shelter and veterans hospital. Kharma is a b****.
  24. I'm calling 4-3 Canada.
