  1. Offense Yadier Molina Mark Teixeira Dustin Pedroia > Ian Kinsler Scott Rolen > Placido Polanco Troy Tulowitzki > Marco Scutaro Justin Upton Colby Rasmus = Andrew McCutchen Ryan Braun > Nick Markakis Kendry Morales Total Lineups: WhiskeyBreath 4, Jbay 4 Rotations: Tim Lincecum = Felix Hernandez (difference this year balanced by difference over past 2 years) Dan Haren Francisco Liriano Tommy Hanson > Shaun Marcum Cole Hamels > Anibal Sanchez Rotation: WhiskeyBreath 2, Jbay 2 Bullpen: Wandy Rodriguez Jonny Venters > Kyle McClellan Leo Nunez Rafael Soriano = Matt Thornton Luke Gregerson Mariano Rivera > Jon Broxton Bullpen: WhiskeyBreath 2, Jbay 3 Bench: Chone Figgins > Pedro Alvarez Mark Reynolds > Erik Aybar Jacoby Ellsbury = Andres Torres Buster Posey > Jose Molina Franklin Gutierrez Bench: WhiskeyBreath 3, Jbay 1 Final Score: WhiskeyBreath 11, Jbay 10
  2. I agree. I only agreed with bsox on the bench pitcher vs. hitter thing. I agree with you that you have a far better team than Suns, in virtually all aspects.
  3. Looks like Ranaudo and Cecchini won't go to LSU, but you'll still get LeBlanc. I'm sure there are other potential LSU candidates that were drafted as well. Besides, it's not like LSU is the only team that loses players to the draft.
  4. For some reason, Yahoo said that Lowrie HR'd twice. Phew, that makes me feel slightly better.
  5. Son of a bitch. Lowrie and Drew both with 2 HR's on my bench. Jesus f***** Christ.
  6. Lineup Victor Martinez > Kurt Suzuki Miguel Cabrera > Kevin Youkilis Ben Zobrist > Gordon Beckham Alex Rodriguez = David Wright Elvis Andrus Ichiro > JD Drew Matt Kemp > Grady Sizemore Shane Victorino Ryan Howard = Adam Dunn Lineups: Divinity 5, Bsox 2 Rotations: CC Sabathia Stephen Strasburg > Clay Buchholz Andy Pettitte = Josh Beckett Matt Garza > John Lackey Javier Vasquez Rotations: Divinity 2, Bsox 2 Bullpens: Kris Medlen > Wil Ledezma Dan Wheeler > Jason Motte Ryan Franklin > Jason Frasor Brian Fuentes Brian Wilson Francisco Rodriguez = Jon Papelbon Bullpen: Divinity 3, Bsox 2 Totals: Divinity 10, bsox 6 I think that for the 4 vs. 5 (and for the next round) that we should use the benches as well.
  7. Robi, if it makes you feel better, I still voted you ahead of Youker.
  8. HAHAHA, that's even funnier. In addition to Jed Lowrie, I also had JD Drew on my bench!!! FML.
  9. God damn it, I had Lowrie on my bench tonight.
  10. Sorry Suns, your team just isn't that good. You started off well and surprised some people but you tanked towards the end. Granted, it looks worse since Youker isn't in the draft, and you're against one of the best teams, but no matter who you faced, you weren't going to win this thing. Your team is decent, it's just not good enough for a seemingly 8 team league.
  11. It depends on who you ask. It's a huge yes if you ask Brendan Donnelly, but he's a d-bag as well, so it's all relative.
  12. Screw it, here we go. Carlos Santana Joey Votto > Billy Butler Robinson Cano > Jose Lopez Evan Longoria > Michael Young Alexei Ramirez Nelson Cruz > Jose Tabata Alex Rios Carlos Gonzalez > Adam Jones Paul Konerko Total Offense: Ytrb 5, Suns 4 Starting Pitching: Adam Wainwright > Ubaldo Jimenez David Price > Justin Verlander Mat Latos = Jered Weaver John Danks > Ricky Nolasco Tim Hudson > Carl Pavano Total Starting Pitching: Ytrb 4, Suns 0 Bullpen: Ervin Santana Sergio Romo > Chad Qualls Mike Adams > Frank Hermann Evan Meek > JJ Putz Hong Chi Kuo > Chris Perez Andrew Bailey Total Bullpen: Ytrb 4, Suns 2 Total Ytrb 13, Suns 6 (Although technically, it's 14-5)
  13. I agree, I think we'll have all of our top picks signed, minus say, one of Coyle or Cecchini.
  14. From what I've heard, most, if not all of the top 10 round picks should sign. (The least likely to sign is Coyle). Also, Lucas LeBlanc (11th round) has made it clear that he won't sign, and will go to LSU. Hopefully we can at least take Ranaudo and Cecchini and prevent them from going to LSU.
  15. Divinity, although the name could use work.
  16. I'd normally do a position by position analysis, but I'll save it for a closer battle. In this case, Ytrb has the better team.
  17. Are we factoring benches into the equation?
  18. I'm also going to have trouble coming on next week. I'll be fine until Sunday, but then I'm going on vacation for about a week.
  19. Since Flynnatic doesn't have a bench, I'm not going to factor my bench into the equation. Anyway, for a position by position analysis Mccann > Posada Morneau > Fielder Utley > Phillips (look at the triple slash) Utley's OPS .915/.905/.849 vs. Phillip's OPS .754/.776/.788 Zimmerman > Sandoval Furcal Choo > Heyward Hunter > Granderson Crawford > Prado Ramirez > Pena (I almost had it as a push, but Ramirez hits for power and average. He's a 3-4-5 player (300 avg/400 obp/500 slg) while Carlos Pena is hitting .212. Offense: Team Erin Andrews Likes It Raw 8, Flynnatic 1 Starting Pitching (The meat of Flynnatic's team) Greinke Oswalt Niemann Dempster > Buerhle Kuroda > Hughes (Kuroda has been more consistent, and a lot of Hughes' good numbers have come from his relief appearances. Kuroda has done better this year in my opinion, plus Hughes' horrible 2008 counts.) Starting Pitching: Team Erin Andrews Likes It Raw 2, Flynnatic 3 Bullpen: Happ > Romero (I'm saying this because Ricky Romero doesn't have relief experience, so I'm not sure if his numbers can be applied to a relief role. Before Happ's most recent start, he was unhittable. Happ also destroys Romero in previous years numbers. Stauffer > Sipp (.76 ERA) Oliver > Scherzer (again, not sure if Scherzer qualifies for a relief spot) Oliver is also a battle tested lefty with great numbers over the past few years. He can also go multiple innings and pitch many innings over the course of a season Feliz > Street Marmol > Nathan (if it weren't for Nathan's injury and not pitching this year, he'd win this one) Wagner Bullpen: Team Erin Andrews Likes It Raw 5, Flynnatic 1 (Normally I'd factor the bench in, but Flynnatic's bench isn't complete) Also, I think the fact that I have a better team name should give me another point. Team Erin Andrews Likes It Raw 16, Flynnatic 5
  20. When should I start with my persuading arguments for my team?
  21. Maybe have everyone revote amongst those two teams to see which one plays the 2 seed and which one plays the 3 seed. Or, you can contact the owners of the 6 and 7 team and see which team they'd rather go against (without telling them which one is the 2 and which one is the 3)
  22. I think you made it. Wasn't that the thread where you and another poster argued about whether or not Ranaudo was going to sign?
