    No, anyone can pick anyone. I'm just saying that it's less creepy for Suns, Flynnatic, and Redsoxfanforlife to pick a 16-17 year old than it is for myself or YOTN. That doesn't mean we can't do it. There are no restrictions of that kind.

    How come when a team trades with us, they usually ask for a lot and try to screw us over, but when the teams try and trade with the Yankees, they bend over and give away players, in addition to giving up cash, for nothing in return?

    I'll go with him. Also, in the round summary, Ytrb, you have Flynnatic taking Joe Nathan in consecutive rounds. Also, the makeup picks from Flynnatic and WhiskeyBreath need to be updated. In any event, it's Ytrb's turn.

    Damn, I liked both McGuiness and Mendez, especially Mendez.

    I think we got hosed by Texas, but at least we didn't give up Buchholz for Saltalamacchia as they wanted a while ago. And, however bad this trade may have been, it's nowhere near as bad as the Gagne deal. Texas still owes us for that one.

    For what it's worth, Soxprospects had Mendez as our 21st best prospect, and McGuiness as our 30th best prospect. Outside of Vitek and Brentz, that's not counting anyone in the 2010 draft.
