  1. been saying it all along... we have to bury these f***ers into the ground and put a stake through their hearts while we're at it... cannot... repeat... cannot let up one bit. Bases loaded and nobody out and no one scores is the complete opposite of that. f***ing s***
  2. The rays are a team that we have to bury... can't give them a chance to make something happen late in a game. Peavy needs to throw a gem tomorrow and the offense needs to tee off on Hellickson
  3. f*** he crushed that pitch... had to be sitting on it... got lucky and they're still alive. Maybe the other 10 Rays fans not named Dick Vitale will show up tomorrow night.
  4. Neither of the two final pitches have been strikes all night long. This ump needs to be taken out... NOW
  5. This ump is horrendous. Need to throw one right in his grill next half inning.
  6. Rooting for a Sox/Pirates series for a while now... always liked Pitt everytime I've visited... fans are pretty enjoyable and they deserve a nice playoff run considering what they've been through... be nice to see them roll on into the Series only to get stomped by the Sox.
  7. This. Add Mike Scoscia to that list and I'm right with ya. f*** them all...
  8. Funny how Russell Martin seems to be so much less of a douchebag now that he's not wearing pinstripes. Love the guy now... hoping the Buccos make a deep run. If any city deserves it, Pittsburgh does.
  9. Double play!!! Sox now up 2.5 games!!! Hell yes...
  10. LOL... just saw the score. f*** yes...
  11. Jesus... what the f***? Location gone just like that
  12. I agree wholeheartedly. As someone who has spent the majority of my life rooting for the Sox from 1500+ miles away, being able to listen to the games online via the radio broadcast is a godsend. Castiglione is absolutely brilliant as a broadcaster and I enjoy every moment I get to listen to him call games. It's old school and I love it.
  13. Damn... bases loaded (twice) and only 1 run scored. Can't happen against a crap team like San Fran.
  14. I voted yes in the poll, although I think the question is much too simplistic, in that it doesn't take into account the ridiculous amount of money re-signing Ells will inevitably take. If money is no object, hell yes I re-sign Ells. In reality, I doubt we do it, as we'd be committing a huge amount of money to a speed player entering his age 30 year. Team player, great clubhouse guy, and speed on the bases not withstanding, I just don't see what he brings that makes him worth the kind of money he'll demand this off-season.
  15. Prophetic much??? LOL... Rodney just gave up a two run single to Prado... 9-8 AZ in the bottom of the 8th. Half inning to go for a 2.5 game lead
  16. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
  17. He hasn't played there a ton, but for my money, I really don't give a f***. His defense there won't be so bad that it causes a major issue IMO, and his bat is light years ahead of anything Holt/Snyder offer combined.
  18. Bye bye Houston... enjoy the AL basement
  19. No s***... I'm okay with Drew when he's playing solid SS and offering a decent AB the majority of the time. Right now he's better than that. Hopefully it keeps on going forward. Still can't see what the f*** Bennie has against bringing Bogaerts up now rather than later. I could understand if he thought Bogey would be less of a player than the guy he'd replace but the reality is completely opposite.
  20. I second that notion. Bogaerts needs to be here tomorrow.
  21. This team is so far removed from last year's shitbox it's not even funny. They're never out of it and it's f***ing amazing to see the turn around happen this fast.
  22. Nancy Drew Part II strikes back!!! f*** yes!!!
  23. Here's a small list of pitchers that could potentially be moved in an August trade, from MLBTR: Blue Jays: Darren Oliver (L) Twins: Brian Duensing (L) White Sox: Matt Lindstrom ® Mariners: Oliver Perez (L) Angels: Joe Blanton ® Astros: Wesley Wright (L), Travis Blackley (L) Phillies: Jonathan Papelbon ® Mets: David Aardsma ®, Scott Atchison ®, Pedro Feliciano (L), LaTroy Hawkins ® Marlins: Chad Qualls ®, Ryan Webb ® Cubs: Kevin Gregg ®, Matt Guerrier ®, James Russell (L) Brewers: John Axford ®, Burke Badenhop ®, Mike Gonzalez (L) Padres: Huston Street ®, Tim Stauffer ® Rockies: Matt Belisle ®, Manny Corpas ®, Wilton Lopez ®, Josh Outman (L), Rafael Betancourt ® Giants: Javier Lopez (L) Out of those listed, I'd probably be interested in Duensing and Lindstrom, with a guy like Street being a decent option as well. Seems we have a plethora of left handed relief as it sits right now, but Duensing has been pretty solid in the past and has the ability to go long as well, having started games before with the Twins. Not sure what it would take or even if the Sox would be interested, but he wouldn't be a bad BP addition I think.
