    @redsoxstats After the 2017 season, Dustin Pedroia underwent a knee surgery that essentially marked the end of his career. Since then, Red Sox second basemen (35 players) rank 26th in wRC+, 26th in defense, and 27th in WAR at the position. Hopefully today starts a new era of stability there. For all the LOVERS out there in TalkSox land.

    INJURY UPDATES @ChrisCotillo Cora said medical staff is still gathering information on Yoshida. No answers yet. Pivetta rehab start tonight in Worcester. Bello will pitch Tuesday for Portland. Pivetta could rejoin rotation in ATL. Romy Gonzalez rehab assignment starts tomorrow. With all of the injuries this year, this may need its own thread.

    I'll admit that he's lightyears beyond what we saw in 2022, even considering the one ball he completely embarrassed himself on this year. I have no worries about him in LF.
