  1. Per his appearance on the Name Redacted podcast, he was spending Spring Training living with his new girlfriend.
  2. Devers 1529 OPS Sogard 1341 OPS Guerrero, Hagenman, Slaten, Campbell - 0.00 ERA, WHIPs under 1.00
  3. There are some decent comps out there, but the money should be manageable. With Bello, you hope for his stuff to tick up after the extension and that you are underpaying a healthy #2 for 7 years or whatever.
  4. I mean, why would they sign him only through 2028? I guess it's just info for the reader, but duh! Casas should be done first though.
  5. Giolito noted that he would love it if Clevinger came to the Sox and said he would advocate for him. I just hadn't heard anything aside from "baseball insiders believe Clevinger is a good fit for the BoSox because they are cheap and need starting pitching help."
  6. If any team wants to sign them, they are free to do so. The Sox could sign Bauer, Urias, Clevinger and German if they wanted to. Hard to put that on a lame duck manager though.
  7. Unfortunately, Henry doesn't see it that way. He only wants to spend once they are a true playoff contender. Fans just take it on the chin over and over again.
  8. Stop talking about the 14M option the Sox have on Giolito for '26? I'll stop bringing it up when it's no longer relevant to the discussion.
  9. That's true, but when you are signing a guy like Montgomery, it's hopefully not just for one year of production. Sox would really need his production in 2025 when the young studs are supposedly going to be ready to contribute. Can't always put off the FA signings until next year as the right guys may not be available then.
  10. I'd say it's a black comedy, but have you seen this roster?
  11. LOL, wut? "however, one name stands out as having not come up in the rumor mill at all to this point in the winter: veteran right-hander Mike Clevinger." You got a link? I couldn't find anything connecting them.
  12. Wherefore art thou Ryan Weber?
  13. He was well over the 600 innings!
  14. Bright side being him being the Opening Day starter in 2026 after they pick up the option after he pitches under 140 innings in 2025 and the Sox pay him only 14M to pitch in 2026?
  15. 3 years if they pick up the option for 26!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I guess they'll just create a roster with no starting pitching then?
  17. If only the search function was better.
  18. If the Sox pick up his 14M option after '25, contingent on him pitching less than 140 innings, he will be with the Sox in '26.
  19. Braves guys that work with him say his defense will be fine at 2b, that his issue at SS was related to range, not being a butcher like Valdez.
  20. He just needed an offseason where he was finally healthy! Duh!
  21. 3 years if the Sox pick up the '26 option.
  22. Probably the guy on Reddit that said they were signing Snell.
  23. "I'm 13 and this is deep."
