  1. How kind. Is this where I offer you an MiLB deal and we meet in the middle with a NRI?
  2. -6 DRS in 250ish innings at 1B. Can't play there. -13 DRS in 1900ish innings in OF. Why the f*** did CLE put him in CF?
  3. Or just give up on the idea of bringing either in. Use that money on the rotation.
  4. At least get a guy that can stick in the rotation though. Cabrera was all over the place last year.
  5. They have told a few FA's that they need to clear $$$ before signing the next few guys and floated Masa, Jansen and Story. If you sit back and think about it, this is what a team would do if they were doing a fire sale and punting.
  6. Heyman is unreliable for sure.
  7. As many others have said, it's been an absolute s*** show for baseball reporting this offseason. Nobody seems to have a clue.
  8. Heyman says "very much in play." Maybe just trying to drive bidding up on the true buyers.
  9. Bleis is too far away and coming off an injury plagued season. His trade value is low as all get out right now. Mayer's value is about as strong as it will get unless he really mashes this year and marches towards MLB. At that point, Sox would be silly to trade him.
  10. Pitchers aren't willing to pitch for ass or grass anymore.
  11. There is some sort of budget. 200M? Crag needs to figure out how to pay 26 guys an average of 7.5M. Should be doable.
  12. Yes, it works for one of the greatest players in the league.
  13. You can "get by" but it's not going to get you to do much in the playoffs IMO. On paper, this team could be better than last year just because we could expect an increase in performance as younger players can get better. IDK. I think I said last season was 84 win, this feels like 81-81 at the moment. They need another arm to get them to 84 win territory.
  14. I don't think Sandoval is that good so I'm not interested in him. My worry is that they hold onto Masa, sign Soler, and Masa's overuse in LF causes his 2nd year bump to be lower than we'd like. They should probably deal Jansen if they are bringing back additional SP's and pushing Houck/Whitlock to the bullpen. He's not a long term commitment.
  15. I'll come with the Sunday coupons!
  16. They already had Kelenic, why would they want Duran???
  17. I'd extend Casas, but wouldn't extend Bello. I'd consider offering an extension to Teel or Anthony at the end of this season.
  18. They heard Carrabis didn't want to MC.
  19. I can't say that I know any of the prospects in 1-4 so hard to judge those trades. Tempting to dump that contract even tough I believe he should bounce back this season. As for 5: No to Cabrera Ok on the Luzardo trade 1, 2 and 4
  20. "At the very least, even if you don’t agree with BTV, it’s a good tool to make you stop and think what exactly is making up the value of a player and the entire package that comes along with it. I’ve said many times that BTV is not the end all be all, but it’s good tool to help the bridge the gap in understanding player values and how trades can be responsibly created." - Robbie Hyde
  21. That's only cause they fired your boy Bloom!
  22. The Angels Way TM.
  23. And there ain't nuthin' wrong with our bull s***ing anyway.
  24. They also said Winckowski will be stretched out.
