But that Mick guy said the signing would be announced by the Sox in a press conference mid week?!?!?!? Mets 30% TOR 20% LAD 20% BOS 15% NYY 15%

Criswell also has an extra option and may start in AAA.

    Just followed and downloaded. Thanks.

What Bregman did was so beyond the pale that he wasn't even suspended or fined for it.

Signing the Wilsons of the world to pitch the 6th inning isn't the problem. Signing Chapman is really dumb. Letting Soto go elsewhere will be really dumb. Not getting a TOTR starter will be really dumb.

He's going to get too much money for not enough return. Pass.

Chapman is an MLB pitcher and a horrible human being. Bauer is not an MLB pitcher and a horrible human being. I don't want either on my team.

They floated Adames and nobody really bit on it. I know Bregman, Fried and Burnes have been considered. I wonder if they end up just going with Alex Cobb (doesn't throw a 4 seamer) and Tyler O'Neilll?

Hendriks hasn't had a high powered arm since he was out of baseball after 2022. I'm worried that he doesn't have a 9th inning repertoire anymore. Slaten hasn't really been that guy. Whitlock either. Both have been more setup. Slaten could develop into that guy. I don't see Whitlock as that guy going forward.

If they miss out on Soto, stick a fork in 2025. I'll be excited to watch the kids come up, but they'll still be a .500 team.

    😩

Going to need to see this! 🦿🧓

Quick, someone tell Soto that Boston is the HUB of the universe!
  14. mvp 78
Combo of both, plus former Yankee with those two issues attached. Just gross all around.

    No.

    1. David Wright 2. Strawberry 3. Beltran 4. Reyes 5. Keith Hernandez Lindor has a chance to become #1 by the end of his contract.

Passan will earn millions over his career from working for ESPN. MLBTR isn't taking money out of his pocket. People don't go to ESPN.GO.COM or whatever anymore because half the site is paywalled on the most banal articles.

    Miss me on this one.
  20. mvp 78
I think signing Bregman isn't as bad as signing Chapman.
  21. mvp 78
Stats doesn't consider Bauer to be a FA as he doesn't believe any team would sign him.
  22. mvp 78
One year deal for Elias Diaz.
  23. mvp 78
Saying this signing is underwhelming is the understatement of the offseason. I can't see them picking up another LHP for the pen now. Do not like.
  24. mvp 78
    Yuck!
