  1. Does anyone know why Burnes' k rate has dropped the past few years? He still generates a decent whiff rate.
  2. Multiple years of Casas for one year of Vlad? I wouldn't do that deal. TOR would have to add players to make it worth my while.
  3. Sox would just use him at DH most likely, but yeah I don't trust him to be consistently driven to perform. He hasn't done it year in and year out. Those Jays players are relying a bit on their dads' accomplishments and are kind of overrated IMO.
  4. Does Rafaela have more or less trade value with the extension he signed?
  5. Jays want a package that is similar to the Juan Soto package. I'm out on that. Soto and Vlad Jr are not comparable IMO.
  6. My only real question is that Hamilton was a 2.6 bWAR guy this year. For someone that was seen as the last guy on the 40 man roster, that's really amazing production and quite the breakout performance. I don't think I could give him anything less than a B or B-. I know his defense is subpar, but I think if he was left as a backup 2B/roleplayer, his warts would be diminished. Devers only produced 3.7 bWAR and you gave him an A-.
  7. Yeah, they are going to want a lot more than just Crochet. Breslow could have signed Montas for really cheap this offseason and didn't. I think he just doesn't like Montas' stuff.
  8. Martin wants to come back, so there's a good chance he comes back on a cheaper deal. I think they can release the others and sign Burnes/Scott or similar and be better.
  9. He's had two great year and a few mediocre ones. I don't think I'd be all in on trading for him.
  10. Agreed. Just need to figure out if they want to super two any of these guys.
  11. No. They talk about it on their podcasts. Feel free to take a listen and be more up to date.
  12. Goodbye to a Red Sox legend.
  13. I'm just going to disagree with you about the offensive skill. Grissom has zero power. Campbell hits the ball with authority and had 20 HR this year. Campbell is a much better all around player. If Grissom was still a ranked prospect, he might be ranked 13th for the Sox.
  14. SoxProspects also indicated that the defense at 2B looks a little ugly and that Grissom still may ultimately need to move to OF. They believe Campbell is better defensively in the IF than Grissom.
  15. 920 OPS for Grissom with 8 HR in in 397 AB at age 22 in AAA. 898 OPS for Campbell with 4 HR in 70 AB at age 22 in AAA. Hard to really say Grissom "hit better." We also saw what Grissom did this season.
  16. I mean, we've heard a lot of talk before. I'm not going to pretend like all of our fantasy booking will amount to much this offseason.
  17. I'm not sure what "value" has to do with it?
  18. That's what happened with Betts. He had a meteoric rise and was actually considering quitting baseball at one point while in MiLB.
  19. The bar for a franchise C in today's MLB is lower than you think. Wong wasn't all that great of a prospect while in AAA and he's now the starting C. Teel has a higher ceiling than that. Mayer's issue mainly relates to health, otherwise he's projected to be a Brandon Crawford type. Anthony has the higher ceiling of those 3. Campbell may be too soon to tell. Also doesn't have a defined position yet.
  20. It's just not going to be 2 unless they are also dealing a current rotation pitcher.
  21. He looked great in ST and had 4 really good starts. Unfortunately, his health is a very big determining factor.
