  1. This is the best article written so far for the new site. Fanatics is really the dirt worst. Everything the touch, they ruin. Baseball cards were just starting to have a little resurgence thanks to COVID, but this should really bring the market down. I've already seen a lot of complaints about customer service, missing hit cards and other issues that weren't happening just two years ago. I wasn't a jersey guy so it didn't impact me before, but sometimes you have to look around and see how everything is just getting worse with these massive companies pushing out inferior products. The NFL isn't allowing the Patriots to have a Blue Sky account. Every few seconds you are bombarded with online betting crap when you watch sports. It's only a matter of time until the same thing happens and AI slop is pushed down your throat.
  2. I only have one thing to look forward to I guess...
  3. 4 MiLB backup C. Sabol Narvaez Zavala Kolzsvary (probably shouldn't even count as he's more of a bullpen catcher and emergency AAA guy)
  4. He was with WOO last year.
  5. Kiké did say there's lots of carry on Masa's throws. Maybe we just need to give it another shot. 🤔
  6. Because in the absence of games and meaningful offseason moves, there is nothing to talk about. We'll always make room for something new and fun to talk about even if it will never happen IRL.
  7. They made the playoffs by winning 86 games. That's not an undoable number this year.
  8. I think they'll take a little step back, but still win the division. It really depends on when Fried's arm gives out.
  9. The post Mookie trade Sox are basically the pre-2003 Sox. Maybe we can luck into a 1999 season?
  10. When the Yankees lost Judge to an injury, they became a .500 team in 2023.
  11. Last year was way more enjoyable than '22 and '23. The record was marginally better, but the team was more enjoyable to watch by far.
  12. If it was truly between DET and BOS, I think he'd be here on a cheap deal. I don't see him coming here if the Astros deal is on the table and if the reports of the PHI being the mystery team are true.
  13. No. If he had 4 more healthy years, he'd be in the conversation.
  14. I've learned to never trust ownership (JH, Werner, Sam) and just expect the Sox to be around .500. Any signs of life better than that and I'm happy. I have no control over the direction of the Sox so I can't fall into a morass of negativity over it.
  15. If the Astros still have their original offer on the table, he isn't coming here.
  16. Diddlesquat may be a better contract over the long haul.
  17. Then the above post wasn't for you. I didn't say the 7th inning was ok, I said "the 7th for Chapman was great, the 8th was ok and the 9th was change the channel."
  18. They aren't acquiring a closer at this point. The closer is already in house. A catcher who can play D and isn't bad on O is like a 3 WAR player. Hard to come by.
