  1. From SP: Field: Versatile defender who has played second base, third base, shortstop and center field. Looks most comfortable at second base, where he played in college. At short and third, shows solid athleticism and range, but is a little unorthodox with his movements. In the outfield, he Is still learning the nuances of the position, especially with his reads and routes, but has the raw athleticism and speed you look for out there and to cover up for most errors. Potential average defensive profile with the versatility to adequately play at least three positions.
  2. It's nice to have a Pedro Ciriaco or two every Spring Training. Look forward to Trayce's 40% k rate at WOO.
  3. I'd tell you an offensive joke about a pop fly, but it'd go over your head.
  4. '23 was his only full season and that's how it worked out. BUT! '24 333 OPS in June?!??! Does this portend troubles going forward?!?!?!?!? 🫣😮🥵🥶😨😭
  5. And that was at like 1230 at night or something? C'mon man.
  6. With this ownership group? Who knows!
  7. But that's not an easy answer! We need easy answers!!!
  8. Now if they could just get an extension done.
  9. Just letting it rip out there.
  10. Not sure I've heard anyone mention Gonzales' defense.
  11. Oh sure, they won't even be half way through Spring Training until next week. Of course the 2b is decided. May as well just go fishing.
  12. The dry spells may be "long", but not multiple months long.
  13. You think they only work on turning DP's in game? If so, they may only turn one every game. What kind of work is that?
  14. I just called him my favorite guy to sub in on RBI Baseball since they used the 1984 stats. https://wiki.dee-nee.com/wiki/Tony_Armas
  15. And they are trying to play as many players as possible to see where everyone is at. If they can give AB's to Grissom/Hamilton/Campbell and starting at different positions during the same game while all competing for the same position, it's a good thing.
  16. JD 2018 Papi 2006 Papi 2005 Manny 2005 Papi 2004 Manny 2004 Manny 2001 Mo 1996 Armas 1984 Rice 1978 Yaz 1967 Williams 1949 Foxx 1938 Foxx 1936 That's it. That's the list.
  17. Things I will not be clicking at work regardless of what the image ends up being.
  18. He fielded 4 different positions last season and 6 during his short pro career. Dude is just versatile. I know it's not the answer you want to hear. Some guys can play multiple positions and be fine. 36% 2B 33% SS 26% CF 5% 3B If you can just use him as a swiss army knife, fine. I wouldn't put him at SS though. I think he's most likely a 2B/OF/3B guy.
  19. There's no other place to play defensively challenged Grissom or Hamilton. Campbell is versatile enough that you can throw him elsewhere and still get him reps. He's been primarily a 2B and probably should remain there unless they REALLY believe in Grissom IMO.
  20. I'm right there with you and have mentioned it previously. 😎
  21. He's a guy whose physical gifts have brought him to MLB. He clearly has to take the next step. We don't know if it's health, ability or something else that is currently holding him back. Breslow said that he believes he can become a 40/120 guy. Casas says that if he doesn't get there, he shouldn't be the 1B. I guess he shouldn't be the 1B of the Boston Red Sox since I don't see him reaching those numbers at the moment.
  22. May '24 DNP July '24 898 OPS (season high) 🤷‍♀️
