  1. I'm not sure whether to call it a hidey-hole or hermitage.
  2. You're just talking about a speedy utility player. I'm sure those teams could find a guy like that who has actually played capably above High A.
  3. I see, so Cora is going to the DR this week to specifically NOT talk about the possibility of moving Devers off 3B. Makes sense.
  4. It would be hilarious if that were to happen. That would be the Emperor Has No Clothes moment.
  5. Some scouts have Campbell ahead of Anthony FWIW.
  6. Cheap AND out of touch IMO. He needs to be bullied into signing players they way he was bullied into extending Raffy,
  7. It's all I got left with these Bozos.
  8. Ferguson's issue is he can't hit. Not sure he could OPS 600 in MLB.
  9. I'm just here for the Sox taking a Yankees player in the MiLB portion. If they forgo that annual tradition, this FO is officially COOKED.
  10. The A's HAD TO. If they didn't sign a big contract, the were going to have an MLBPA grievance filed against them (based on rules regarding money spent on payroll for teams that get revenue sharing). They still may have to spend another 20M or so.
  11. Overpay the right guys. If Burnes is the best player available, you overpay him. You don't overpay Pivetta (or similar) to come back.
  12. That audit didn't do spit. 😪
  13. Kwiatkowski and Bryan Gonzalez in the MiLB portion.
  14. You really need to stop getting crucified so often!
  15. Happy Rule 5 Draft Day to all who celebrate. 2PM
  16. I have no idea what his stuff looks like after TJS, so no.
  17. According to McAdam, manager Alex Cora and team president Sam Kennedy are more keen on a Bregman pursuit than Breslow happens to be. Well, I agree with Breslow on this one. Wonder if the problem is the continued issue of too many cooks in the kitchen?
  18. I would say that nobody is untouchable, but there are very few trades that would be worthwhile to move Anthony or Campbell. The players that would need to be given up are unlikely to be moved by the other teams either. How often do you see a Mookie Betts for Aaron Judge trade or whatever?
  19. They have struggled to understand the "market" ever since the dumb "no pitchers over 30" nonsense.
  20. Whatever gets people through the day.
  21. To be expected. The only person who should be shocked here is Brock.
