He doesn't need to be hurt to be a bad player? He can just have a terrible approach and no longer be able to hit. He's increased his pull rate, but has also increased his GB rate. Not good!
Just park him on the bench. Maybe he comes out of it at some point. Maybe not.
That's only if he's making the same contact as in previous years, but he's not.
xwOBA 20th percentile

Hard Hit 34th percentile (way down from last year)
Earlier, they tried to have him push through the pain and do some dry swings. It made the problem worse. Now they are waiting it out.
Should have done surgery when it first happened like it said. 12 weeks at most and he would have been ready to go. Now? Potentially lost season. We're already 11 weeks post injury!!!
BAL currently has a 7 game win streak. Good hitting team. Fielding isn't great. Mediocre to poor pitching.
BOS just beat the CHW who are built similarly to BAL IMO.
Sure, but history tells us that Craig overvalues us in trades and isn't likely to sell low on him. They'd still try to deal him as a 4 win player most likely, not a 2 win player since they were valuing him as a 7 win player last offseason.
A RHB with pull power at a position of need (LF/DH/SS) makes sense. I think finding a SS would be the toughest nut to crack. Maybe just stick with the strong defense up the middle and add boppers at DH and LF to lengthen the lineup?
