  1. If they bring Bregman back, they'd have to have a plan to get rid of Story. I don't think they'd bring back Gio. They may not want Buehler back at 24M either. Chapman will just bounce around for the rest of his career as a hired gun IMO.
  2. They should trade Bregman and Chapman ASAP. Think of all the $$$ they'll save and players they can add. Maybe get ahead of that horrible Crochet extension and trade him before he gets too expensive!
  3. They really know how to treat fans right.
  4. Papi needs to keep cashing his checks so he can't turn his back on JH.
  5. If anything, this should cause them to see the value in Breggie being a locker room leader and get them to work on an extension.
  6. You put Tibbs 6th?
  7. It's always theoretical when you are constantly rebuilding. 🔨👷‍♂️🏗️🚧
  8. A Forbes valuation doesn't tell us enough to answer either question.
  9. I mean, needing JH to fly out to calm things down (LOL) isn't a good look for Cora and Breslow. Those two need to get on the same page. Henry loves Cora, but he can't fire Breslow because nobody else wants the job. 😬
  10. It's the morning after. It's how we were always going to feel. We'll feel a little bit better tomorrow. I wasn't going to trash the back patio last night like my daughter threatened to do.
  11. What does a team's Forbes valuation have to do with how the Sox are run year to year?
  12. This offseason, they'll need to replace Raffy, Chapman, Buehler?, Wilson, Bregman?, Refsnyder and anyone they trade at the deadline. It's an endless rebuild.
  13. Cotillo - with the team everyday McWilliams - not with the team everyday anymore, now works for CBS I'm going to side with Cotillo on this one.
  14. Remember, the Sox are interest kings and aren't typically the bidders with the highest offer. You know this!
  15. They should be copying the Dodgers model. The Dodgers spend AND have a good farm.
  16. There's no reports that state he asked for a trade though. The reports only say that he considered asking for a trade in ST. Anything else is just you speculating so that you can make your point.
  17. If he wanted a ring, he should have gone to DET though. Guess Breggie isn't a winner.
  18. Betts only had a year left on his contract, but we hoped for an extension. Devers had another decade to go. That'd be an interesting conversation. I think the impact of trading Betts (and all the other nonsense over the next 5 years) softened the blow of trading Raffy 100%.
