  1. Teams in 07 playoffs that will end the season with worse records than the Sox: Cubs DBags Rockies Injuns overrated: Angels Old: Yanks Underperforming: Phills
  2. Oh noes. Last place in May! How many games out of WC?
  3. Google bigfoot. They exist.
  4. Maybe it's the old chicken or egg? Personally, I think people didn't pay much attention to Tebow until it was on ESPN nonstop for weeks. People got tired of it the same way they got tired of all the Favre drama. I honestly don't think people particularly cared about his religious beliefs. It's just more lame stream media stuff, amiright?
  5. People hated Tebow because he was overexposed on ESPN. When it's 24HR coverage of a mediocre QB, people just wanted him to go away. It had nothing to do with religion. It's the same reason people hate Lebron. I thought Tebow would be great for the NFL and he was.
  6. What happened? I missed yesterday's game.
  7. Christian players are exposed to scorn? Guess I forgot how Bill Mueller was run out of town for thanking God in every interview. Christians always believe their faith is under attack. In reality, it's just not the case. It's all a part of the conspiracy theory self righteous attitude that too many people have. If you're a white Christian in this country, you're part of the majority. There's no boogeyman hiding behind the corner trying to get you.
  8. I'm a press and seal kind of guy. Tinfoil is overrated.
  9. Tebow is a national controversy? In what country? Not this one. He's a media darling. I don't believe in boogeymen. The us vs them gag is boring to me. The world isn't black and white, at least not since technicolor was invented.
  10. The problem with America is the proliferation of tinfoil hats and the lack of regulation in the tinfoil industry as a whole. When Clinton deregulated the industry in the mid 90's (due to a substantial donation from Reynolds) it was the beginning of the end.
  11. Payroll has a lesser priority than secured claimants (if there are any). They may not be repaid in full and I believe their claims are limited to about $12k per person. IRS and general business claims have a lesser claim than payroll.
  12. Employees were not and have not yet been paid the 5/15 payroll. They continued to work through yesterday. As claimaints against 38 Studios that do have the right to obtain a limited amount for past due wages. However, it just seems shady that Schill put $4M in only to have it paid out of the state funds later on. You're right, I don't truly know his finances and my thoughts are purely conjecture. It's sad for all involved. I know Schill was really relying on the next game "Copernicus" to make the company successfull. Too bad they couldn't make it that far.
  13. Ells should never play CF and leadoff after another injury to wipeout half of the season.
  14. Typical Dojji, forever holding a candle for Sox prospects so that he can say I told you so. Bard = SSS Reddick = we blew it Really? Talk about picking and choosing your battles...
  15. I agree. It wasn't my pov.
  16. He pitched 40 innings less than Aceves. Not sure 73 innings is really overused. Tito was no Dusty Baker. If Tito didn't use Bard, "well that's another loss to blame on Tito." (The running theme in the offseason was Tito cost the Sox 15ish games.) If Tito used Bard, "well he's tired because Tito has used him too much."
