    There's no reports that state he asked for a trade though. The reports only say that he considered asking for a trade in ST. Anything else is just you speculating so that you can make your point.

    Betts only had a year left on his contract, but we hoped for an extension. Devers had another decade to go. That'd be an interesting conversation. I think the impact of trading Betts (and all the other nonsense over the next 5 years) softened the blow of trading Raffy 100%.

    He took the higher AAV and opt outs with Boston. It's not really apples to apples with Detroit's offer.

    The malcontent was saying "communicate with me and treat me fairly." Other players are going to notice. Players started to not like Bloom here. More players will tune out Breslow and that is going to impact Cora more and more. The whole organization is on a bad path with their bad culture. It rots from the top down (JH).
