  1. It's his first MLB start, so I'm not expecting dominance. He's still learning his secondaries.
  2. PIT is 29th in wRC+. They are probably already ruined.
  3. I would because the other OFers are Rafaela and Anthony. No reason to carry 4 guys for 3 spots, especially when 3 of them are LHB and 2 have massive split issues. They were looking to trade one of the OFers, Masa and Casas last offseason. I think we see a shakeup this offseason.
  4. I'm just going to grab a seat on the back porch and watch Tolle.
  5. Work is rarely worth it and mine has nature trails I can go on.
  6. Dobbins - Injured Crawford - Injured Sandoval - Injured Fitts - Injured Harrison - bad in AAA Giolito - needs to be re-signed That's why people have suggested trading for a SP.
  7. That's what I thought when you said Chapman 2.0. Chapman is having a career year, but he was still a pretty good reliever prior to coming here. He didn't need to be completely remade. Hicks needs a complete overhaul. If he becomes a 7th inning guy, I'd be happy with it. Right now, it's not a comfortable watch no matter the lead.
  8. Hicks has never had the record that Chapman did. If they think they can turn him into a closer, they are making a big mistake. Slaten or Whitlock maybe?
  9. It was just the very first inning and mainly bad defense that caused the big inning.
  10. Sox haven’t won the last game of a series since 8/3. That’s 7 series ago.
  11. Sox have failed to close out the past few series. Time for the brooms to come out.
  12. Gio has expressed interest in picking up the option because he feels bad about missing last year. However, I think he still will go to FA.
  13. I heard that Abreu is progressing slowly and may take a while. I doubt if Campbell is the callup. Personally, I'd take Sogard or Eaton over anyone else (without looking into the overall math right now). Not sure how they weigh Tolle vs Harrison. Tolle is far superior, but may have an innings limit. If there is no innings limit, they'll roll with Tolle. If Tolle as an innings limit, he'll be used as a opener or in the bullpen at most. Maybe they just go with Harrison due to the previous MLB service time.
  14. Sox have failed to close out the past few series. Time for the brooms to come out.
  15. Slaten activated Moran optioned to AAA refsnyder activated Lowe to the paternity list
