    No way do the Marlins make that trade. Bringing in Hanley would be nice, but his lack of hustle would be scorned by Sox fans. I don't see it happening.

    Paps did that one season after closing the year before. Not a big deal. I'm sure there is a backup plan, he's just not on the roster yet, unless it's Aceves.

    I think you'd be happier being a Yankees then. They are sure to win you more titles over the rest of your lifetime. The Sox teams I grew up with didn't miss the playoffs by one game. Count your blessings.

    This season could get nastier than a Bad Girls Club marathon. I really hope the hiring works out perfectly and the ship is righted. However, if players step out of line, this could be a very entertaining 81-81 team off the field.

    I went last year. It's an ok event. Cool for the location, but that's about it. The "yard sale" was alright especially if you like game used jerseys from AAAA players. Last year, we got tickets quicker by going home and going online due to the group we were in. I just hope A700 wins the raffle for a signed Salty jersey. It's definitely something to experience once.

    The manager situation had zero to do with it. That myth needs to just go away. Paps doesn't have to deal with a manager. He sits in the bullpen until the 6th or 7th when he'll start stretching. If he's called on, he'll warm up and take the ball from the manager. His only interaction is "go get 'em" from the manager. Why would he care who the manager is? He's a closer and is in his own little world.

    It's a rat infested shithole that had concessions closed for a series as it failed a health inspection. If you're in the area, just see the Dodgers. It's a beautiful stadium. As for your question, I'd want to go to Tampa so that MVP Jr could see a game with his Nana and go to Epcot after.
