  1. Would rather play CLE or DET because those two teams aren't as good, but NYY would be more fun.
  2. DET is 2nd in MLB in wRC+ vs LHP. Difficult test for Harrison tonight maybe?
  3. None of the guys you listed play Breggie's position. Schwarber is a DH only. Bichette is probably behind Bregman in value TBH.
  4. Weak FA class. Had a strong season regardless of the injury/slowdown at the end. I think he was probably going to opt out no matter what.
  5. If you sign up, you also get access to great Apple programming like Ted Lasso, Highest 2 Lowest, Platonic, Palm Royale, Pluribus, Loot, Flubrick, Chief of War, Sean Penn Sees the World, Smoke, March of the Penguins 4 and Womangrove.
  6. At least you cut the cord and aren't paying for cable anymore! ✊
  7. No way does that change the amount of .300 hitters materially. The problem with BA in 2025 is about hitter approach. There are only 7 hitters above .300 in '25. In '17, there were 25 hitters over .300. That's almost a 75% decrease in under 10 years.
  8. Umps are fine with AAA system. If they aren't ok with full robo and would strike against it, then no full robo or there would need to be concessions from ownership. I support the union. It's just a hypothetical. My only point is that the public would be more supportive of umpires in the event of a strike/lockout than moon believes. Seemed like a straightforward argument to me.
  9. I'm fine with the AAA challenge system or full robo k zone. I'm not fine with umps going on strike and the public wouldn't be either. I simply gave a real life example of the public showing support to the typically hated NFL referees 10+ years ago. If something similar happened in MLB, we'd see the same fallout IMO.
  10. He may not be as good as Hamilton or Sogard. If he could play SS, he'd definitely get a chance at some point. Being a 2b/3b really limits his upside unfortunately.
  11. Just hoping KYLE HENDRICKS has a good start tonight. 😝
  12. If DET wins first two, they are in. They'd have zero incentive to win that last game. It's more likely that the Sox lose tonight AND the Astros lose tonight and then Pumpsie complains for the next 6 months that they backed into the playoffs because the last two games of the regular season didn't matter at that point for the FLOPS regardless of what happens.
  13. The k rate is climbing too high for me. If he had Kyle Schwarber type power, I'd overlook it, but he's not that guy. We'll see what next year looks like. Lots of injuries and lots of k's.
  14. I give a lot of $ to MLB for mlb.tv and it's annoying to get locked out of several games every month. Not sure what I'll do about games going forward. 🏴‍☠️
  15. Magic numbers don't go in reverse, only ever onward towards zero.
  16. If MLB took out the live k zone (that isn't real), I think you'd be less upset.
  17. The five offensive guys I think are interesting: Arias Jhostynxon Godbout Gonzales Taylor Not much else in the system. I'm ignoring the DSL guys. I think it's way too early to look at them TBH.
