  1. Gray had better IP, k/9, bb/9, ERA, FIP, xFIP than Cease in '25. Why be so down on Gray and high on Cease?
  2. What fanbase speaks highly of their training and medical staff?
  3. It's not even December yet. There are no reports of him having anxiety. If we are only worried about control, we'd never trade any prospects. Clarke has the same strike throwing percentage as Hicks and Mata. Fitts was a backend starter at best and took zero steps forward last season while other guys took leaps.
  4. What if you only have to take on 1/2?
  5. He's been worth it to the Padres the first 3 seasons according to the FanGraphs formula. Probably won't continue to be that way at some point.
  6. That's not until the beginning of March. Most rosters should be set by then.
  7. He couldn't hit AA pitching until he went to play in down in TX. Not sure that even counts?
  8. https://empiresportsmedia.com/new-york-mets/mets-injury-prone-star-is-being-offered-in-trades-has-a-strong-market/ Senga managed only 5.1 innings in 2024 due to injuries, never quite stabilizing long enough to reclaim his early momentum. This year teased a return to form when he opened with a 1.39 ERA through mid-June, only for a hamstring strain to derail everything. The Mets watched him hit the injured list again, lose some edge upon returning, and ultimately slide to Triple-A in a move no one could have imagined back in 2023.
  9. I don't know what kind of value Senga has after needing to spend the end of last season in AAA and still being owed 30M.
  10. Look, anything that doesn't agree with my argument is just an outlier ok!!!
  11. Not really. It would have to be really cheap IMO.
  12. Never. Jose Peraza Chris Mazza Zack Godley Josh Osich Dylan Covey Andrew Triggs We were all witnesses. swoosh
  13. They made the ALCS in '21 from what I remember.
  14. You've already started complaining?
  15. How can anyone possibly complain about the 2025 offseason moves? Crochet - All Star, CY runner up Chapman - All Star, reliever of the year Bregman - All Star Wilson - solid reliever Narvaez - starting catcher that exceeded expectations
  16. I we going to start using "trade liabilities" around here?
  17. The team was BEST when they had Roman AND Devers together. They had a higher win % for that stretch.
  18. I heard it's the last move he's going to make his entire tenure! This is it folx!
  19. And you also said they'd flop. Seems like your PROJECTIONS need some tweaking! 🤔
  20. Back to back seasons with 200+ k's and under 40 bb's. If all you are looking at is ERA, you aren't looking at the whole story. Better FIP and WHIP than Bello last year.
  21. Maybe the rule changed? IDK. I don't remember the details of the AGon extension.
  22. Mookie played CF for most of '15 before being sent to RF for the rest of his Sox tenure. If that's what they chose to do with Rafaela, it's better than sending him back to the IF. I don't think any team wants Grissom in a trade as he doesn't have any options left and has to be on an MLB roster or DFA'd. He's a negative in any trade. Suarez is a terrible 3b. I like Schwarber, but it doesn't make financial sense to pay him AND Masa to be on the same roster. They would need to find a way to get rid of Masa first, which isn't going to happen. What's the plan for the right side of the IF with your moves?
  23. There was a second update where they took out Clarke and added Leighton Finley at 60. Here's some of what Mike Andrews posted: Debuts Luke Heyman at 34 Gerardo Rodriguez at 60 Grades Connelly Early ceiling from 5.5 to 6** Mikey Romero ceiling from 5.5 to 5 Henry Godbout ceiling from 5.5 to 6** Tyler Uberstine projection from 4 to 4.5 Shane Drohan projection from 4 to 4.5 Jedixson Paez ceiling from 5.5 to 5 Yoeilin Cespedes ceiling from 6 to 5** Miguel Bleis ceiling from 5.5 to 5** Johanfran Garcia set at 4, 3-5.5 Not a surprise to see them decrease Cespedes and Bleis's ceilings. Early and Godbout are notable increases to ceilings. For reference, a 6 is an impact everyday player (not quite All Star level), while a 5 is just an average player.
  24. Not sure it has anything to do with when it is signed. Raffy had his signed prior to ST of '23 and it didn't take effect until '24.
