  1. I got a real complaint. Why is our bat boy so f***ing fat?
  2. Hell yeah. Pedro just brought a different energy to the city on gameday. You could feel it in the air.
  3. I was just saying that I was agreeing with you and explained why.
  4. Short throw. RF has a good arm. Dumb play.
  5. Ben would have traded for Sale a year early?
  6. They wouldn’t be 93-0, but it’s a bad habit that could lose them a playoff game.
  7. I don’t even know. I guess it’s the philosophy?
  8. Fortunately for me, my opinion agrees with the metrics.
  9. Yup, you certainly have one
  10. Devers needs to rest once in a while.
  11. Hell no. Not unless there’s a ton of HR’s in there.
  12. Why can't I get a posse?
  13. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2018/07/red-sox-interested-in-significant-bullpen-addition.html As they look to improve a roster that has performed at a high level this year, the Red Sox are interested in adding impact in their late-inning relief mix, according to a report from Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com. We heard yesterday that the team has interest in Orioles southpaw Zach Britton (see here and here), but he’s certainly not the only potential target. At the moment, it is not clear if the Boston organization has any particular pitcher in mind. Crasnick indicates that the team is “blanketing the relief market,” so it appears that there are still quite a few possibilities. It’s not surprising, of course, to learn that a clear contender wants to improve its bullpen. That’s almost a given in this day and age, when the ability to deploy a variety of quality relief arms in optimal fashion can make all the difference in high-leverage situations in critical games. The key takeaway, though, is that the Sox aren’t just looking to add another solid set-up option. Rather, the report indicates that the organization wishes to obtain a high-end, difference-making arm. Notably, Crasnick suggests that the pending free agency of elite closer Craig Kimbrel is a factor, perhaps indicating that the Red Sox will be particularly interested in a controllable player. Nothing real eye opening here...
  14. Anyone with "Barstool" in their name can be ignored for the most part.
  15. Not according to the Fangraphs Tribune, the only source that matters.
  16. Negative oWAR and dWAR. I don't think his value is better today than what it was when traded.
  17. Yup, 2015 was a back breaker.
