  1. @jcmccaffrey "It’s not about Cy Youngs, All-Star Games, and personal achievements, it’s about winning a World Series. To finally get that, this is my 10th year in the big leagues, I’ve never felt anything like this. I can’t hold back the tears," said Rick Porcello. Biggus Dickus
  2. In terms of my love for them: 2004 > 2018 > 2013 > 2007 In terms of talent: 2018 > 2004 > 2007 > 2013
  3. Technically, a700 IS the King of TalkSox.
  4. Dodgers have a beautiful baseball stadium, but the traffic getting their sucks. Dodgers had Vin Scully on the radio, but he retired. Dodgers fans ended up being held hostage for the tv contract nonsense. Dodgers fans got to see their team lose two straight WS. At least the weather is nice out there.
  5. @Shesta_HOF These @RedSox #WorldSeries artifacts are headed to Cooperstown: -Alex Cora's hoodie -Steve Pearce G4 bat -David Price G5 jersey -Nathan Eovaldi's cap and spikes -Eduardo Nunez's bat -Brock Holt's helmet -Joe Kelly's glasses -G3 home plate ump Ted Barrett's ball/strike clicker
  6. Everyone but the Yankees fans and Madstork, right?
  7. I think the team determines who gets a ring. Doubt they send someone who didn't appear in a uniform for them this season.
  8. Yup. He had a LHB lineup going against LHP the majority of the time. Position by position, the Sox were far better than the Dodgers. The bullpen was supposed to be the Sox's downfall. It was their biggest strength. Dodgers had no chance.
  9. One of those moments where I sound crazy at the time, but 6 months later everyone is on board? Maybe!
  10. He can start the season on the 40 man roster and be fine.
  11. Pedey will play 140+ games next year.
  12. Blake OPS'd 613 last year. 707 from 8/22 on. That's just not good enough to keep around as he isn't a great defender anywhere on the field. If he's an adequate C, you suck it up. I'm just not sure he'll hit the ceiling that some people dream about on here.
  13. I really like Dalbec too. I think he has the highest ceiling of anyone in the system today. If he can cut down on the k's or at least show that he can continue to make substantial contact at higher levels, he could be an All Star type bat from day one. I think Darwinzon Hernadez could be lights out in the pen. http://mlb.mlb.com/milb/stats/org.jsp?id=bos 16 k's in 8 IP in the AFL. I forgot about Quiroz. If Pedey is still injured in April, Quiroz could make the opening day roster. I think Nunez is going to have offseason surgery and may be out for a while.
  14. Everyone forgets about Bobby V.
  15. @Marc_Normandin David Price can say anything he wants about the media and their treatment of him today and forever and anyone who says differently is a cop
  16. Dalbec is not close enough to make an impact in 2019. We won't see him until 2020 at the earliest. He has too much swing and miss right now. If anyone makes an impact it will be a reliever or two. Chavis might get a cup of coffee next September.
  17. In a week, nobody will care about the WS MVP award.
  18. Ockimey is gone or left unprotected. I think some guys off the 40 man will be moved to make room for Lakins and Hernandez.
  19. Everything is a cliff if you want it to be.
  20. I think Eovaldi prices himself out of Boston.
  21. Swihart, Pomeranz, Eovaldi and Pearce go. Kelly is re-signed. Kimbel is given a QO.
  22. No chance. No chance in Hell.
  23. Back to back to back to back
  24. But the cliiiiiifffffffffff............
  25. The greatest Sox team evah
