  1. He's always been a scumbag. It was very evident after his wife died and he started bringing around a younger gal during the same time he was basically selling the death of his wife.
  2. If dues aren't paid, no draft, IMO.
  3. His only projection is YANKEES GUD SOX TEAM BAD. If there was only a hint of humor or irony, his/her posts could be enjoyable. Alas, we're stuck with this.
  4. Predicted standings 1) New York Yankees: 104-58 LOL
  5. I'm in and don't expect to win this year. I have a lot going on, but will still keep my team competitive.
  6. Says the guy with ONLY 18 MORE TO GO EVEN THOUGH I WASN'T ALIVE FOR MOST OF THEM in his avatar...
  7. RIP When Tomase passes away, I hope we can all just ignore it.
  8. He should never have been hitting 3rd to begin with.
  9. So let's not talk about anything then.
  10. The next MLBPA union fight will go to getting rid of the tax.
  11. Cable subscription and the price of a ticket aren't going down anytime soon.
  12. No, it means they have control of Betts through 2020, but Xander and Sale are UFAs this November.
  13. ^ Didn't really want him I guess?
  14. I haven't since the end of last season. Most of the newer ones have him outside the top 100.
  15. Anderson Espinoza is ranked 17th in their system. That ship sank.
  16. They're keeping the band together.
  17. Both guys are replaceable. It just remains to be seen if the Sox have a replacement. I'm not worried about Joe Kelly leaving. I think someone like Travis Lakins could match what Kelly did last regular season. I still think they should reach out to Kimbrel and bring him back on a short deal.
  18. 6/130 is my guess today.
  19. If the Sox give Betts the largest offer, he'll stay. That seems pretty obvious to me. Doubt he'd throw it away for one down year where we only win the division with 94 wins rather than 108.
  20. Abject dumpster fire because Joe Kelly is gone. Um, ok... He wasn't very good for long stretches over the past few years. Losing him is not a big deal. My guess is that if they retained Kelly and let Kimbrel go that you'd still be calling it an abject dumpster fire. It was a top 10 bullpen last year. It'll still be top 15 even with the loss of Kimbrel.
  21. Would depend on interleague schedule year to year. I'm also not sure the tax implications of Spring Training. Do they only get paid on a per game basis? Spring Training isn't included in that? Off days? This is why I was an auditor, not a tax accountant.
  22. Padres should sign Harper too.
  23. Combined sales and income tax leaders The Tax Foundation interprets individual tax burden by what taxpayers actually spend in local and state taxes, rather than report these expenses from the state revenue perspective used by the Census Bureau. Its State and Local Tax Burden Rankings study reported that Americans paid an average rate of 9.9 percent in state and local taxes in 2012. According to the foundation, the five highest state-local tax states were: New York 12.7 % Connecticut 12.6% New Jersey 12.2% Illinois 11.0% California and Wisconsin 11.0%
  24. If taxes were a big issue for these guys, people would only play in FL and TX.
