  1. I'm sure people are too.
  2. Lies. It's just a flight simulator from Project X.
  3. I would never eat a pig. I even take the pigs out of my animal crackers and put them in my daughter's Little People barn.
  4. If it doesn't go well on a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie with whipped cream and hot fudge, I'm not into it.
  5. The most popular is chocolate. Vanilla is fine, but not if you refuse to put anything on it. That's when it turns into serial killer territory.
  6. I don't think you grow the game at the AAA level. You need to increase the outreach of the MLB and get kids to actually play little league again. Population is up in my town, but the participation in little league is lower than ever.
  7. Serial killer alert folks!
  8. Are you the type of guy that cares what the AAA team's record is and believe that's the best indicator of the talent down there?
  9. Thanks to a big assist from Pedro.
  10. So, because they are signing a bunch of guys to MiLB contracts, they won't sign more than one MLB deal? I think they are just waiting out on the market and hoping prices come down.
  11. It's because he was in trade talks over the previous winter for Ordonez in the ARod fiasco. Nomar had the achilles injury he was dealing and he was just poopy in ST towards the media. He basically wrote his ticket out of town.
  12. I'd be more sad if the HOF burned down than if Capitol Hill sunk into the middle of the Earth.
  13. Well, then I guess you don't have to worry about it anymore toots.
  14. Yes, we're at that "Hispanics have funny names and aren't there so many of them these days" time of the offseason.

  16. I'd rather have 1,000 Harold Baines in the HOF than have to hear or see that old tired "It's not the Hall of Very Good" nonsense ever again.
  17. You advocating for 2 separate Halls is the single lamest thing I've read on here in a long while. This is like 7:30 AM Sunday radio sports jock filler silliness.
  18. @NotMrTibbs Net gained/lost votes through 66 ballots (~16.0% of the vote): McGriff +11 Walker +10 Edgar +8 Mussina +8 Vizquel +7 Rolen +5 Schilling +4 Kent +3 Wagner +3 Sheffield +2 Andruw +1 BB/RC +1 ----- Sosa -1 Manny -4

  20. Yuck. He's going to get hit around in the AL.
  21. The Mods are unpaid and don't have time for this kind of work. If you want to talk about a topic that you can't readily find, just make your own post.
  22. Craig Kimbrel’s lofty asking price — a reported six years and $100MM — and the lack of big-market clubs currently willing to spend on a late-inning reliever could present the right-hander with a difficult market this winter, Buster Olney of ESPN.com writes. Olney likens the situation to last year’s tepid market for J.D. Martinez — a similarly elite player for his position (designated hitter) who lingered on the open market until landing in Boston in late February — a match that long seemed inevitable. The Red Sox may be the best bet for Kimbrel, too, Olney opines, especially given the plethora of more affordable options for smaller and mid-market clubs to pursue even if they do want to bolster the back end of their bullpens.
  23. Mattingly's JAWS score is 15 less than the average HOF at his position. Rice's in 11 less. He's a better case for the HOF than Mattingly. Rice ended his career with higher WAR than Mattingly. Dale Murphy was a great talent stuck in a second tier town. If he played on the Yankees, he'd be in the HOF for sure. His numbers are similar to Fred Lynn and Kirby Puckett. If I went to the HOF and saw a plaque for Mattingly, Lynn, Murphy, et al I wouldn't be bothered. Anyone deserving of a conversation should be in. They were some of the greatest players of their time. They should be in. Dewey will get in eventually.
  24. This is just dumb.
  25. Even if he just pitches a few good innings down the stretch, it's a great signing.
