Congratulation to umpire CB Bucknor. He is the new leader for largest miss of the season!
This pitch to Josh Bell missed low and away by 5.96 inches.

Who doesn't love quirkiness like this!!!
I think he gets some time in the system towards the end of next year. Missing only 2 years isn't a big deal when considering the upside of his arm. Definitely worth the 4th round pick.
Yeah, he could probably get you through the order once, but pull the plug after that. He's only pitched over 3 innings once in MLB and that was 3.1 innings back in 2017.
Ryan Weber gave up four runs over six innings in a tune-up start against the Blue Jays on Tuesday.
Weber pitched really well for the most part, though Rowdy Tellez connected for a two-run homer in his final frame. Boston’s No. 3 starter -- yes, really -- yielded six hits in all while walking one and striking out six. The 29-year-old offers good control and induces grounders, but he holds a shaky 5.04 ERA (over 11 starts and 31 relief appearances) in the majors. He’s not much of a fantasy option.
I'd take that over his last two starts for sure.
