  1. Even though the OPS was low, the Rays still had the 3rd highest bWAR for team position players.
  2. What about guys with cannons at other OF positions? Vlad: 42 JBJ: 29 Dewey: 40 Clemente: 66 Barfield: 59 Ichiro: 33 Mays: 51
  3. Seems likely? Greenwell had 32 assists from 89-91. Rice had 41 assists from 82-84. Yaz had 42 from 67-69. Dave Winfield only had 20 in his best 3 year stretch with the Yankees. Matsui topped out at 26. Gardner 28. However, George Bell had 45 from 85-87. I don't really remember the dimensions of the old Blue Jays stadium.
  4. ” I would love Alex Cora to return as manager," Vazquez said, “and the bench coach to be Carlos Beltran.” Uh...
  5. Not baseball.
  6. So they do the same to Beni then!
  7. Well, the problem is that some people are complaining about how much of a s*** show 2019 was, but we already knew that Winnie was a Pooh. Anything about him would literally be a s*** storm.
  8. If they are swapping Devers and Dalbec, they will probably be on the lookout for a real 3b. My guess is that they leave Devers at 3b until he pushes Dalbec to DH. CF is a mystery. I'm hoping for JBJ on a 2 year deal.
  9. Beni assists 17-19: 29 Manny assists 03-05: 32
  10. IDK, The Sox fanbase is used to post WS let downs (2005, 2014). It wasn't that much of a shock that they fell back a bit. Chris Sale had already been a large injury concern by the time the WS was over. Which declines were unexpected?
  11. Beni had 103 runs in 2018 for the old school folx.
  12. His baserunning is fine. He's just slower than people think he is.
  13. This doesn't explain the 2020 bullpen moves...
  14. And declined another 58% in 2020.
  15. I'd go 40/30/10/20 (BOS/CHI/DET/NOBODY)
  16. Ah, but do you take your height measurement with your cleats on or off?
  17. Negative UZR/150 in CF. Yuck!
  18. His sprint speed is 26.6 ft/sec (below average for CF), Devers is 26.5. There are only two CFers slower than that (Inciarte and Cain). I don't think much of his arm either. If he's the everyday CFer, it could be ugly out there unless he's flanked by two outstanding corner OFers.
  19. That's the Bacta Tank Test.
  20. Get on a diet fatties.
  21. For the 2nd shifters, watch this video. It's just great.
  22. Pedroia is listed at 5'9" too??? C'mon guys, this isn't pro wrestling... You don't have to fudge the numbers. https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/boston-red-sox-second-baseman-dustin-pedroia-and-houston-news-photo/578931628 Altuve is listed at 5'6" FWIW.
  23. It was the high socks. All players should have the high socks.
  24. Betts is listed as 5'9, Beni is listed as 5'10. Betts is taller in every picture I can find?!?!? I need slasher to make a ruling. He's fair and balanced on Beni's physique.
  25. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/229050331031452541/ Upon further review??? I feel like I've just been pilled.
