Any limb loss would get him nontendered. He'd also get nontendered if he lost a finger on his left hand, lost either eye, lost either foot or was found in the backseat with Henry's wife. He could get his nose lopped off by an axe like Tyrion Lannister and still get a contract though.

Ted Williams is overrated by every city in the US. All I hear is that he's the best hitter ever. If he was that good, they should have been a perennial playoff team.

My neighbor is under the assumption that all Red Lobsters are high end, or at least the one in our town. He's been ordering it to go every week since the lockdown. I'm sure the cheddar biscuits are fine enough, but... I would say that the Legal Harborside version of Legal Seafood looks cool, but I've never been to that one. -

Also, the word was that most of the scouting department was unhappy with the direction Dombrowski was going. I'm sure they are far happier (and valued) under Bloom.

Now look at his power numbers prior to 2019... He'll be 31 next season. He's not an up and coming prospect.

I think the current scouting department is not very similar to the pre-Moneyball days. Eddie Romero Jr is still with the club. I think Bloom came here because there was already a decent system. He just needed to do a few tweaks, not a complete overhaul.

Meh. I'd rather go to Union Oyster House, James Hook or Yankee Lobster any day. Eating at Legal Seafood is basically like going to a chain restaurant. Pass.

Yaz 2 is a good story, but he'll be 31 next year and never hit 20 HR's until last season. He bounced around the Orioles system for 6 years. He has flash in the pan written all over him. Worse, his family doesn't want him to play for the Sox because they think it'd be too much pressure for him.
