Garrett Whitlock is the first pitcher in 26 years to make the Red Sox’ Opening Day roster after being selected by the club in the Rule 5 Draft the previous winter. The last to do it was Vaughn Eshelman in 1995.
@SoxNotes
The Red Sox’ Opening Day roster features 14 players born in the United States, 3 in the Dominican Republic, 3 in Venezuela, 2 in Puerto Rico, 1 in Aruba, 1 in Canada, 1 in China, and 1 in Japan.

Red Sox Alternate Site roster includes Michael Chavis, Jarren Duran, and Jeter Downs in Worcester. Top prospect Triston Casas remains in Fort Myers to start the year.
If the COVID PPD's continue this year, will they actually use the taxi squads or just have teams not play a full season? MiLB doesn't start until May, so there's a few extra guys hanging around that could fill out a squad.
I thought they fixed a portion of the RF seats a few years ago?
I don't mind the seat size. I don't mind that it's a little more uncomfortable than every other park I've been too. I think the obstructed seats are a blight on Red Sox nation though.
