    @redsoxstats Kluber is throwing his bullpen in front of scouts tomorrow and it seems like 20 different teams think they may be getting a top of the rotation guy for pennies on the dollar. Let’s see how this goes. This offseason is the MLB version of musical chairs.

    I thought recent reports stated Rosario was actually pretty far away? I just don't buy into Wilson as even a AAAA guy.

    I don't think we see Wilson, Feltman, Potts or Rosario this year. Mata could be a late season call up. Seabold is probably an emergency starter. Wong may get called up after the deadline, but more likely is on the roster in 2022. Whitlock will definitely be here due to his rule V status. Bazardo could potentially be in the pen on opening day, but who knows.

    I'd rather Wong over DJ. I think Wong will age better and his defense will provide a lot of value even when his bat declines.

    Clearly, the biggest part of the savings was after 2022, but I was just saying that you can stay under the CBT even if you get really close this year. Also, we have NO idea what the CBT will look like under the new CBA. Current CBA expires this year.

    And yes, to a large portion of the fanbase, Pedey was the face of the franchise, especially post-Papi.

    Or not. Easy enough to stay under the limit. Lots of contracts coming off the books in the next two years: Pedroia, Price, JD, Eovaldi. That's 64M AAV savings.

    Devers/Sale haven't been around long enough. Bogey has 2 WS rings in his 10 years with the Sox. He's also a great leader off the field.
