  1. I saw. It was cool.
  2. Okamoto YES Murakami NO
  3. If there's a hard cap, there'd have to be a hard floor, which teams don't want.
  4. Big Show fell off a skyscraper and lived. He deserves every main event.
  5. Don't listen to him. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
  6. It's the same lineup that slumped at the end of last season. 💪
  7. I think Breggie/Hoskins is a reasonble ask. A Suarez/Hoskins offseason would be horrible for the defense. If they wanted to spend and get defensive and offensive value, they could go Breggie/Okamoto.
  8. He still is a very good prospect, but he was at the tippy top back then.
  9. They'll bring somebody in. It just may be an underwhelming name.
  10. They are NOT getting Schwarber. If they sign Bregman, it's the one big deal they make this offseason, unless they trade for a #2 and extend.
  11. I think there was true uncertainty in regards to the payroll going forwards. If the team took a dive, there was going to be a selloff at the deadline which would have put them under the CBT.
  12. Casas is a terrible 1B. Refsnyder is a terrible OFer. They haven't been able to move Duran/Abreu yet. Having a DH guy on the bench kills roster flexibility.
  13. 5/140 max and that's more than I want to pay.
  14. I think they just cared about getting under the 2nd line and seeing where the season took them.
  15. Prospects have been overvalued for a long time, especially top guys like Painter.
  16. Brezzz is already getting lapped out here.
  17. If he's treating it as a hobby and not a business, the losses aren't a big deal. A lot of people spend over 1% of their annual income on a hobby. Him spending that on the Mets wouldn't be a problem.
  18. @notin
  19. I don't know if it was authentic or not, but he was never a guy who played things up for the cameras. It'd be out of character for him to do that. I think he was taken aback and worried about the backlash from losing the second franchise player during his tenure.
  20. He's been untradeable so far and is a blocker on the roster.
  21. I believe it's just baseball revenue (including tv and merch, but not including real estate ventures around the park).
