    Not sure he really has ace potential, but his slider is fun to watch when it's working. With only 2 pitches, it'll be hard for him to turn the lineup over consistently.

    1. Mookie was already in his prime. 2. The original trade included Graterol going to the Sox instead of the Dodgers, but Sox didn't like his medicals. Graterol throws an easy 100 mph, but isn't a big k guy. Time will tell if Bloom chose the right guys.

    Ramirez is a pretty good ballplayer, even if we don't see a need for him right now. We didn't exactly have a Schwarber sized hole on 7/31, but Bloom nabbed him.

    Posters on here keep alluding to Sam Kennedy saying that payroll will go down or at least not increase... Not sure how to do that and retain Bogey.

    Lowe wasn't a very beloved ballplayer. Prior to the 04 playoffs, nobody would have given 2 shits if he left. Damon was the veritable hired gun. It sucked that he left, but I don't know if people had the attachment to him and saw him as a face of the franchise the way they did for Betts or Lester. I can't equate losing Lowe and Damon to losing Raffy and Bogey. It doesn't seem similar enough to me.

    It's coming back around now that Bogey is coming due and there are signals out there that they may not extend him.

    Since 2018, he's only played 16 games at 2b. Seems unlikely he goes back there. I guess he could for a different org.

    If Jimenez replicated his OPS from Lowell, he'd be protected. His OPS dropping 100+ points is a reason we are probably safe to ignore him for now.
