    I also tried to pick players that stuck around long enough to have decent MLB careers. I avoided cup of coffee guys. No shame in just sucking ass for the Sox at the end or beginning of a lengthy career.

    Worst Pitcher: Jack Billingham 11.10 ERA in 7 games in 1980 after being traded from the Tigers (Remlinger had some bad stats in 2005, but are skewed by him being thrown to the wolves in one relief appearance when the Sox were already getting drubbed, while Billingham got hit around in every appearance) Worst Hitter: Craig Grebeck who had a 166 OPS in 23 games in 2001 (dishonorable mention to Allen Craig who had a 432 OPS over the course of 2 seasons at an offensive first position) Worst Human Being: Ugueth Urbina 2nd Worst Human Being: Wil Cordero

    Sorry, I was looking at a weird list. Kikuchi wasn't listed as "active" because he's a free agent. I didn't list every player, just ones I thought were notable. Nomo should have been first on the list, so I don't know what happened there. Feel free to provide a complete list.

    @pgammo New report suggests Mariners are among the favorites to sign OF Seiya Suzuki. And the GM consensus right now is the Giants get him ahead of the Mariners.

    Gooden really doesn't have the career numbers to get into the HOF, similar to Lincecum. However, I think the Cobra, Dave Parker should be in.

    My career earnings as a CPA will probably beat the career earnings of 50% of MLB players. They earn as much as they can in their 20's and 30's. I get to stretch it out until I die formatting an Excel spreadsheet. I can kinda relate to the guys at the bottom, but not to the guys making Hollywood $$$.

    If users were indeed ahead of testers, why did highly paid guys like Palmeiro, Cruz, Braun, Manny, et al get caught? Shouldn't they have had the ability to fly under the radar?

    If users are ahead of the testers, you have to assume EVERYONE is doing it. If that's the case, it's hard to rail about Ortiz.

    Do I know if he's clean? No idea. Maybe? Maybe not? Without him failing a legitimate test or being part of a trial (a la Bonds/Clemens), I couldn't possibly say for sure. I can say he never failed any tests once they were instituted league wide (unlike ARod/Manny/Palmeiro/Colon/Grandal/Cruz/Braun/Tejada/Cano/Montas/Laureano).

    I give credit to Yankees players when it's due. If they had a like-kind in NY, I'd tip my cap. I'm on record as saying the Rays are just as much of a rival as the Yanks, so I'm no Yankee hating absolutist.
