    Excluding last season, Diekman's Whiff, Brl, xBA and xSLG have been elite. Seems like Bloom is expecting a bounce back. The launch angle and barrel % from last year are kinda concerning though. I'm not sure how great an idea it is to rely on 35 year old relievers.

    Since 2016: Trevor Story: 21.6 fWAR, 112 WRC+, net positive defender up the middle, great baserunner Hunter Renfroe 5.8 fWAR, 106 WRC+, net negative defender in corner OF, poor baserunner Just rearranging the chairs over here... Granted, Schwarber wasn't replaced, but he only had 168 PA's last season. Unless you are trying to say that Story is as good at one position as Renfroe and Schwarber were as good at two positions? If so, then as long as JBJ is a positive fWAR guy, the team will be better off.

    If he's hitting 165, it's a problem. If he's hitting 225, you live with it.

    @redsoxstats Crawford with 5 K in his 2 innings. His 1 walk probably should have been called strike 3 as well. He got 6 swing and misses. Very impressive looking outing.

    REG was my least favorite. AUD was cake for me since I had been auditing for a while before taking the exam. I think BEC was the most annoying to study for though.

    @ChrisCotillo Hansel Robles is still not in Red Sox camp due to visa issues. His minor league deal became official on 3/19.
