  2. @bradfo Breaking: Marcelo Mayer just hit a home run off Nathan Eovaldi https://twitter.com/bradfo/status/1508461093068451842
  3. Speak your truth.
  4. Found the guy who would never waste his time with mids.
  5. I know weed strains are now way stronger than they were 30 years ago, but I'm not sure there's a strain strong enough for another GM to take on JBJ.
  6. Jacko mentioned Bloom buying low and selling high on Renfroe and that he was doing the same thing with JBJ. I was just saying that I don't see him selling high on JBJ at any point.
  7. Can't see anyone being a buyer of JBJ.
  8. Arroyo apparently played the OF on Sunday.
  9. Has he played any OF in ST?
  10. Two years in a row where the OF plan has been very murky.
  11. They've also been throwing Arroyo and Dalbec out there during practice. A few people have mentioned Franchy and Refsnyder, but they'd need to be added to the 40 man.
  12. Barnes k'd the side today. Houck was pulled in the 3rd and walked 5. They wanted him to go 4.
  13. That's just what the Google machine spit out.
  14. If they were determined to sign a pitcher, the next few pitchers drafter were: Phil Bickford - current LA reliever Braden Shipley - AAA arm Chris Anderson - retired, no MLB experience Marco Gonzales - starter for SEA Jonathon Crawford - retired, no MLB experience Hunter Harvey - NAT reliever Chi Chi Gonzales - MIN spot starter, signed to MiLB deal It's a crapshoot. The very next pick was Hunter Dozier. Does having him fix our organization?
  15. sar·casm /ˈsärˌkazəm/ noun the use of irony to mock or convey contempt. i·ro·ny /ˈīrənē/ noun the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.
  16. No dark sarcasm in the classroom, sir.
  17. He's already shown to be an up and down guy. I think he's the backup next year.
  18. Sardonics are apparently easier on the eyes.
  19. If I'm going to look at the brighter side of things: Ronaldo Hernandez - big arm, big bat, bad glove, could be a good fit pending on Robo zone, OPS'd 844 in AAA last year Grullon - up and down depth guy Kole Cottam - bad arm, average glove, OPS'd 863 in AA last year Scott - need to see about current transition to C, but has a Ronaldo Hernandez type bat Hickey - another bat first guy, fringe hit tool, but monster power Lira - guy with the highest ceiling at the position in the organization, could be all around great C but is far away, will be fun to follow I think this group is the strongest Sox have had since Vaz/Swihart were in the pipeline.
  20. It's best to have lots of redundancy up the middle. There's no guarantee that Mayer and Yorke make MLB. There's no guarantee that story stays healthy and productive. If the worst thing that happens is that you have 3 productive MLB guys for two positions, I think Bloom is smart enough to figure it out.
  21. He's not a reliable narrator. That old man can't even math.
  22. The same year Renteria was signed. Maybe it just became MORE of a talking point starting then?
  23. I can just set my font by default?
