Yup, last place in 2020, ALCS in 2021, last place in 2022 = just ok in my book since he hasn’t wrecked the long term future of the club to get the bad results.

Ort was able to pitch in high pressure situations in AAA. Maybe he can figure it out in MLB if given a longer look.
Davis and Sawamura were both low leverage guys who Cora couldn’t trust in important spots. The bar of being better than Sawamura and Davis isn’t that high. Kelly and Ort aren’t Paplebon, but they could be interesting arms.
Maybe they don’t work out? I would have rather seen this back in early July when there was something to play for.
Going over the luxury tax limit and coming in last in such a pitiful way is a big stain on Bloom’s legacy if he never wins the big one here even if some of his prospects pan out.
