  1. Brock Holt?
  2. Craig Breslow was really good in 2013 too.
  3. Everyone always forgets Mike Carp.
  4. But were fans really excited about the Flyin' Hawaiian, Napoli, et al? I don't remember it being all that "exciting" TBH.
  5. Even the guys at SoxProspects have suggested as much even just for a year. Give him some phoney title and overpay him. The Sox clearly like their guys, but this is a results driven business. I'm not sure BOH has really shown us much at this point.
  6. If the Rays had NY's budget, they would be at the tippy top IMO.
  7. As long as their offers keep going up, I'm fine with it. In other instances that we've spoken about endlessly, the offers just stopped and the players were offered fair market value elsewhere.
  8. @BeyondtheMnstr Jon Heyman of the New York Post says that the Boston Red Sox have offered All-Star third baseman Rafael Devers “$220M or so.” Heyman says there’s optimism that both sides can bridge the gap and come to an agreement on a deal.
  9. The last decent offseason was 2017-2018: JD Braiser MiLB deal (I know) Mitch Moreland re-signed And that's still fairly boring.
  10. The Rays without Ybor City?
  11. Counterpoint: Batted ball that strikes either of the upper catwalks (known as the 'A-Ring' and the 'B-Ring'), including the masts that support each of those catwalks as well as any angled support rods that connect the 'B-Ring' to the masts that support the 'C-Ring' in fair territory: In Play. If caught by fielder, batter is out and runners advance at own risk. Batted ball that is not judged a home run and remains on a catwalk, light or suspended object: Two Bases. Batted ball strikes catwalk, light or suspended object over foul territory: Dead Ball.
  12. It's still really surprising that Bloom hasn't brought anyone over from Tampa. That system pumps out some good players. Maybe it's more due to them trading away their guys and receiving prospects from other teams? IDK. Weird though. The Rays are far more consistent year in and year out since 2008 than almost any other team in the division (excluding NYY).
  13. Interest kings. Keep fans on the hook until we are released back into the pond without anything to eat.
  14. You can put him on the 60 Day IL and give him a multi-year contract. It's a better play than the James Paxton deal IMO.
  15. She is a very accomplished woman who was heavily involved in Liverpool’s affairs. Unsure if she has outlived her usefulness.
  16. Blocked.
  17. 0 rings. Depressing indoor stadium. Their all time franchise player is Rocco Baldelli.
  18. When the pictures start dropping of him palling around with CZ of Binance and then the Sox really become Tampa North, don't be mad at me.
  19. But that time it was different!
  20. The comparable was for ceiling, not for projection from what I remember of that dumb system.
  21. The kings.
  22. This is coming on the heels of his Bored Apes NFT being stolen as well. Hard times daddy.
  23. No buyer. No money. Many creditors. Poor house. Barrel wearer. Sox bad.
  24. Does he have a buyer? When is the money coming in? Does he have creditors to pay off?
  25. Wikelman will be repeating Greenville to start this season. I think Perales is going to be ready to for POR to start 2024. No chance is he left unprotected.
