  1. Give Sale the cream and Paxton the clear.
  2. Brewers farm was decimated after losing Hamilton and Binelas.
  3. There's lots of entertainment in watching car crashes in CF.
  4. 4 WS rings in 20 years.
  5. I think him selling the Sox is a pie in the sky wish for fans that are frustrated at the past few seasons. We're stuck with Vlad Dracul.
  6. So one trade is what you can come up with?
  7. Yes, the Sox need an ace to lead the staff. Unfortunately, they decided to leverage a lot of $$$ towards Sale when they should have just saved that money for someone else.
  8. That would help a sale, it would actively hurt it. A new owner would want less long term liabilities on the books, not more.
  9. I believe the picture they showed in the Globe wasn't from the airport, it was from Fenway and a much earlier date.
  10. I'd also like to see some examples please...
  11. Aside from Ohtani and Trout, the Angels have a pretty pathetic organization.
  12. All so that he can still accidentally go over the lux tax at the trade deadline again.
  13. Deal Raffy and you have closer to 55-60M to spend.
  14. Bloom might do it. Would JH do it?
  15. That's what happens when you are in your mid 30's and attached to a QO.
  16. I wouldn't sign anyone with the QO attachment at this point, but especially not Bassitt.
  17. Ever since they unloaded Theo and Tito. They have won in spite of the people at the very top.
  18. When was Acuna's extension? When was Albies? You don't have to go all the way back Longoria to find adequate examples.
  19. Nope.
  20. There's no way in hell I'm driving over there this year.
  21. Wrong.
  22. And I think it also had to do with the drop in attendance across MLB. Just wait until this season. The economy is a big question mark so those tickets will be more of a premium item that will be easier to pass on buying. If the Sox continue to be an also-ran, they aren't going to bring in more fans. There isn't going to be more "buzz" around this team considering the entire front office just got pies thrown at them on the last day of the winter meetings. Even if the Sox play wall in April, will the fans come rushing back?
  23. It's the same thing. You can't separate the 2022 season from this offseason.
