  1. Well there's always the FA market.
  2. Link
  3. Well, it wouldn't be so hard for them.
  4. A triceps tendinitis when he was pitching in the University of Nebraska, and a hammy pull on 2007. WOW! You guys make it sound like he's Harden, Prior, Wood or something. Give the kid a break.
  5. QFT
  6. Every year? It was his first full season in the majors.
  7. After a .338/.426/.543 season on a muchhhhhh better market. $5 million guaranteed after a .220/.313/.359, -1.0 VORP and playing awful defense on THIS market, awesome. Besides Theo was STUPID enough to offer him arbitration, and LUCKY that Tek was even more stupid to not accept it. Fail :harhar:
  8. $5m for Tek and his negative VORP.
  9. Huh? I'll take 204 IPs and a 4.54 ERA from my 5th starter anytime. The contract is for $6 million, he could earn 12 with the incentives.
  10. CC Wang Burnett Joba Pettite Probably the best rotation in baseball.
  11. A tricep strain/tendinitis in 2006. A hamstring strain in 2007. And, the shoulder issue last season. That's not the end of the world, not yet.
  12. What's the problem with leaving him as a starter until he proves us he can't handle it? :dunno:
  13. So he'll end up with an ERA higher than Ponson and Rasner.
  14. Leave him as a starter until he Kerry Woods himself.
  15. Beltre is better and also Lowell, but A-Rod is an OK 3B.
  16. The Sox spent less but the injury risk is way higher. In fact, Smoltz is not even healthy right now and Penny got 3/4 arm left.
  17. So if he's giving you 6 great innings every 5 days, you want to send him to the pen to pitch 1 inning each 1-2 days? :dunno:
  18. 6 IPs five years ago? And you're the one with more baseball knowledge than anyone on this site? :dunno:
  19. Do you know him? Because I do.
  20. That coming from you? Ha, hilarious.
  21. I'm tired of that BS. They didn't spend 400 million dollars. They committed that money for the next 5-8 years. So they're going to have $200 million payroll for 25 players next season, in this economy. Is not like they made a $180 million check for Teixeira.
