If he gets TJS, he's not hitting until he's done with his entire rehab. There's no way an action as violent as swinging doesn't impede his road to being able to pitch again. He gets TJS, that's two full seasons up in smoke right there from both sides of the ball.

I love what Bloom is doing in the minors, but mvp is correct in stating that his future plan being sound and his current execution (at the ML level) leaving much to be desired are not mutually exclusive.

In the mid-to-late rounds they need to stop focusing on the best available players, because the amount of money you have to sign all of these picks is limited. So, you have to save money somewhere to sign all of the best picks you made in the earlier rounds.
