The problem is that moon defends Bloom because some of y'all are talking like you know exactly what ownership wanted from Bloom, or what their directives were, and that just isn't the case. We've seen a marked improvement in the farm system, and that's very important for posters like me, who never honestly thought the '23 team had a chance even if they got a wild card. I keep thinking they're about ready to make a splash before '24, and if they don't, I'll be the first one there with the pitchforks. In the meantime, I'm entitled to take a wait-and-see approach to how they build this team for next year, and others are entitled to disagree. That's just the way the cookie crumbles. -
This site becomes unreadable as soon as the team struggles. Calm down and look towards '24.

I would also fire this entire FO and coaching staff and bring in Duquette as GM and Farrell as manager. I would also like for Henry to sell this team. They all stink!

The loss of velo and high FB rate are scary, specially at Fenway. He's also, to me, a bigger injury risk than most pitchers from stuff I've seen about his mechanics. It's just a rudimentary list though.

He's going to want a ton of money with a very bad, no good platform year, declining velo , low BABIP, and high fly/LD rate. Good K rate though.

Turner could probably find a starting spot at 3B on a contending team with this year's showing for 2024. If I had to guess who they'd keep (although I think both walk), I'd say Duvall.

Casas should improve defensively next year, since he had a decent baseline in MiLB per reports. If you assume an OF that includes any combination of Verdugo/Duran/Abreu/Refsnyder, this could be a league average defense

We don't have to let Duvall go, but it seems only natural that they make some room for guys who are about ready offensively.

They have to spend this offseaon. This core is about ready offensively, but they need to improve the SP, and there are options.
