    Who here has seen enough of Marco Scutaro to have a worthwhile opinion about his defense? That is why you look for help in defensive statistics so you don't end up making s*** up like the resident "Watch the gamezzzzzz" proponent here is so fond of doing. Gom, you just said yesterday you "Erased" those PMs Ital sent you without even reading them,because you don't read s*** from people you don't know, yet you just mentioned them. Lie and make s*** up much?

    The only really interesting thing about the quote is the fact that Hoyer doesn't sound absolutely adamant against trading Gonzales or anyone else.

My "Insta-boner" phrase came from the fact that Hoyer did not once state that he wasn't interested in trading Adrian Gonzales at the time, but, as usual, since you have no original thought you want to make it "seem" like you do by bashing other's opinions, although in this case, there was no opinion to bash, you tried to read 100 pages into a 1-page pamphlet. I'd suggest this, how about toning down the stupidity factor and creating some original thoughts instead of attacking other peoples' posts and making s*** up. Btw, i don't care how you respond to this, since you're "Interpretation" of my previous one-liner is an everlasting testament to your idiocy.

    The way i see it, what got exposed was his defense, and he's been trying to overcompensate at the plate ever since, but since this is subjective opinion, i'll give you Salty, but i'm keeping Gordon. He was that good defensively, and not a liability offensively by positional standards.

    It depends on the player. If it's a kid with a frail mindset (Hansen) one who's really young (WMP) or one who's adjusting from a completely different culture and playing level (Iglesias), rushing them to the majors is never a good idea. That's why the FO will let Iglesias have the proper time in the minors.

    Scutaro has always had solid plate discipline. He simply didn't make consistent enough solid contact to post high OBP totals.

    I bet that deal will come back to bite the M's in the ass. But in the meantime, it will pay huge dividends short-term. Not only did they greatly improve their lineup, they weakened Anaheim's in the process.
