4.28 FIP, .281 BABIP scream fluke so loud it can be heard all the way in Australia. Also, food for thought, Jackson had a reverse split last year contrary to his career norm. Expect the ERA to jump to 4 so quickly (Even the NL West) even Ellsbury won't be able to catch up with it.

You're not overreacting. Jackson's a prime target to regress big time next year. Kudos to the Yanks for avoiding that disaster and still getting Granderson.

Range factor had Granderson at a slightly higher RF/G than Cabrera last year and in 2008: Cabrera: 08: 2.4, 09: 2.2 Granderson: 08: 2.7, 09: 2.5 This brings me to the following conclusions: A) You can't even read. B ) I'm absolutely right in all accounts. C) You try to mask your lack of baseball knowledge behind a slew of childish insults, and it's quite humorous. D) You can't read the stats, you can't understand them, therefore you bash them. E) You just crashed and burned again.

Put it into context. If the Yankees play him against RHP almost exclusively, he could still eclipse the 30 HR mark in NYS. How many corner outfielders can hit 30 HR's and OPS way above .900? (Granderson's career mark against RHP is .940).

Talking about idiocy yet he doesn't understand the simple concept that OF defense does not constitute range alone. Listen, go watch a sport like golf, since you clearly don't know anything about baseball. Go hate on Tiger Woods or something. Question for my viewers here: Who had better range in the OF, Andruw Jones or Juan Pierre? Who was the better CF?

I've SEEN both Granderson and Melky live. The tigers sent Granderson to the Winter Leagues and i saw him play alongside Melky (Opposing teams) , Granderson has a bit better range, but he doesn't get excellent jumps on balls, he relies a lot on his speed and athleticism. Besides that, you don't even know how UZR works, so your opinion on it is meaningless.

The current rumor has the Yankees giving up four players: Austin Jackson, Michael Dunn and Phil Coke would go to Detroit, with Ian Kennedy going to Arizona. Arizona would send Max Scherzer to the Tigers. The Tigers would send Granderson to the Yanks and Jackson to Arizona.

I bet you haven't even thought about the fact that maybe Melky is a better defensive CF than Granderson. You can't have an opinion on it, because you've barely seen Granderson and refuse to use stats. Not only that, but Melky is a much better CF than COF. So it's not an easy decision to make anyway.

The part of you that hopes he stays with Seattle is right. The "Subtle difference" is no longer noticeable under the new regime. It's a no-brainer to keep him around, and it'll be done. The link you posted would be relevant if an honest effort to spark his interest wasn't being made. His price tag is not relevant either because Seattle has the money and he's worth it. By the way, i find it extremely frustrating how you were all over me a couple weeks ago because i wouldn't look up a link posted a earlier yet you turn around and do the same thing now.
