  1. That's the face that epitomizes the Red Sox FO failure to field a decent SS.
  2. Seattle has a serious chance to contend if they add a bat and a starter. That was probably Figgins' line of thinking.
  3. Fielding percent and error amount is the absolutely worst way to rate a fielder's performance. 1.0 UZR/150, 4.3 RF/G. Right around league average. Not even top 5.
  4. If we're "Assuming" your post is indeed correct. And before you say it, yes, Emmz and i are going to get married.
  5. Because i don't have to assume it's true if it's a logical fallacy. You didn't say "Assume it's true" you said, "In my opinion". Your opinion is incorrect, and i am calling you out on it.
  6. The total value of the Red Sox offer to Teixeira was said to have been 10 years and 220 million. However, your opinion is not valid, because you have no idea of the final structure of the contract, or how the negotiations actually went down, ditto for Lee, the foundation for his trade could have been laid on the Winter Meetings, you have no idea how it actually happened.
  7. I bet they at least sign Damon.
  8. Hahahahahaha. :lol::lol:
  9. George Kottaras.
  10. Tell me what exactly about his performance tells you he can be "Half-decent hitter"? Is it the AAA numbers at age 24 and 25?
  11. Indeed, i am. I honestly think he cashed in on his career year, and he's going to experience age-related decline over the life of his deal. I honestly hope he makes me eat 100 pounds of crow, but the realist in me thinks otherwise.
  12. Uribe hasn't proven anything? *Sigh* To you, Uribe hasn't proven anything, but Tug Hulett is a viable option? :dunno:
  13. Oh no. I'm not offended. Remember, it was Emmz who "Lol'd" and you asked why. I'm just trying to explain the reason. Don't listen to that assclown Doiji.
  14. Homoerotic references, watches Spongebob, gets emotional and cries..... Pink T-shirts in his wardrobe, perhaps? Yes, the signals are clear. http://www.utdallas.edu/~awa021000/images/gaydar.PNG Btw, do your f***ing research instead of running your mouth like an idiot k?
  15. What the f*** are you talking about? He had a good season last season, and all of those sub-700 OPS seasons are better than anything Hulett will ever do in the league. I would take Uribe as a util IF right now. How is it a lame attempt to make a point when i'm listing legitimate, proven options instead of KC castaways? Logic: Use it.
  16. Oh? Juan Uribe had an .824 OPS in 432 AB's last year. It's true, that's not slightly below replacement, it's above replacement, in a convincing sample size too. But i guess Hulett is better amirite? Greene had a .619 OPS, but a .217 BABIP to go along with it, and again, he has proven he can handle major league pitching. Hulett hasn't. KC is not the first team to dump Tug btw, he was also dropped by Seattle. We're talking about a 26-year-old AAAA player. You can cherry-pick all you want, but that is exactly what he is. I also urge you, yet again, to do your research on players you're going to diss, just look at Uribe.
  17. You might not have thought about this, but maybe since there was no chance to get Halladay or Lee, they tried exploring other venues.
  18. Well, it's good when you don't make outs, but also hit for power and play fantastic defense. If you don't like that, may i suggest starting a "Bring back Trot" petition?
