  1. Great post, mister Bully.
  2. And the problem is specifically with her. He doesn't do it with me because he sees her as an easy target. Who's the bully?
  3. Every source that has reported the Sox' renewed interest in Bay has said that's exactly what the FO is looking into. Not to mention they should be worried about the tax treshold because it's their money and Bay is not obligated to work around a backloaded contract because it's his money. Tricky road the Sox are driving in.
  4. Diony's cherry picking attempt was denied. Besides, i said respectable one-two punch. He's talking for the sake of talking.
  5. Well i have refrained from personally attacking anyone on the board, but i will call you a f***ing moron, and well deserved. I didn't attack Themino007, and i specifically refused to respond to his post, however i got involved seeing as you have taken it upon yourself to stir s*** up. If you had grounds to make the statement i would concede your point, but your intention is to obviously stir the pot. With all due respect, you can go f*** yourself.
  6. Even if you did use ERA, he was trying to sell us on consistency earlier on (See:Burnett, AJ) 200 IP in 3 of the last 5 seasons right? Then how does a history of seven seasons with above average ERA+ not factor into "consistency" there's been no "hint" of a decline on Wakefield's performance, and there is a precedent with other knuckleball pitchers. "If the context helps the Red Sox, never use it as part on an argument."-Jacksonianmarch.
  7. Read it again. The first point was that he wouldn't outproduce none of them. And he wouldn't. The one he'd come closest to matching is Cameron, but he has superior defense in CF. The fact that Cameron makes nearly twenty times as much money is just icing on the cake. Mike Cameron 2009 WAR: 4.3 Jacoby Ellsbury 2009 WAR: 1.9
  8. Not the context i was speaking in. It's not about whether or not it wastes his talents, but what the depth chart would actually look like. If he's not traded, he would serve as the 4th OF, since he wouldn't outproduce or make a 10th of the money of the other three outfielders. So, either trade or bench.
  9. Red Sox talking about Bay return. Don't know what to make of this, but if they brought back Bay that would be a whole new ballgame regarding the balance of power in the AL East, specially if they can muster up a decend CIF.
  10. We understand that, but it helps to establish the fact that you claim the Yanks rotation to be deeper and more effective, yet the Sox #6 starter has a better league-adjusted ERA than the Yanks' #4, as i'm very certain you would inform us of if it was the Yankees' case.
  11. Interestingly enough, like you mentioned in the Vasquez discussion you guys were having, he has exactly a 0.20 advantage in WHIP in the NL over the AL. Javier Vasquez career stats.
  12. Damn you! I had it copied and ready for a paste just in case.
  13. Also, how old is Andy Pettite again?
  14. So his past injury history is simply forgotten because of two years in a row? Not to mention the maddening inconsistency.
  15. Javier Vasquez career AL/NL peripherals: WHIP H/9 BB/9 K/9 SO/BB HR/9 ERA+ AL 1.258 8.9 2.5 8.1 3.58 1.2 102 NL 1.238 8.9 2.3 8.1 3.29 1.1 110
  16. You've got AJ Burnett in your rotation. What the hell are you talking about?
