  1. No chance.
  2. Yeah, pretty lame.
  3. They're still at least 2 years away from contending. Harper isn't going to skip the Minors. Neither is Strasburg.
  4. I'm shocked this didn't come out sooner.
  5. Yeah, definitely a good call, Commish.
  6. The guy who told me said he heard it from Brian Posehn, if that lends any credibility to it. If Cross isn't in it, I might boycott it. Well, not really. But I'd be pissed.
  7. Tobias is a jack of all trades. Someone told me that David Cross has a serious heroin addiction now. That's kind of sad. I'll be seeing his old partner in crime, Bob Odenkirk, on Friday.
  8. Rician, how is K-Rod's celebratory behavior any different from Papelbon's? I think you'd be singing a different tune if Bruney had criticized your star closer.
  9. Had my eye on Perez. I think that's a good pick.
  10. WAY too early to write this kid off. One bad outing does not a pitcher make.
  11. That I agree with.
  12. Neither is Beckett IMO.
  13. Figgins is a good value pick, as is Hunter (though I'd be a little worried about his age). Nice to have a utility man.
  14. I don't blame K-Rod for being upset. Bruney needs to STFU.
  15. Webb is a true ace and until this year had been extremely durable. Beckett is a big game pitcher with great stuff. Health can be a concern with him, and you'd like a little more consistency, but definitely a solid #2. I agree with Kilo on Vazquez. He's never lived up to his potential. His peripheral numbers are excellent, but when he gets into jams he can't minimize the damage. He is very durable, though. You can pencil him in for 200 innings. Nolasco reminds me of Gavin Floyd. You don't really know if last year was a fluke for both guys, but Floyd is starting to turn it around. Maybe Nolasco can, too. His last start was impressive. Don't know much about Anderson, but he's only 21. Could be awhile before he figures things out.
  16. Howie Kendrick was sent down to AAA.
  17. Thank you to whoever dropped Mark Reynolds earlier in the year.
  18. That's pretty sick.
  19. Unf***ingbelievable. Better to be lucky than good, I guess.
  20. Gotta be Halladay or Greinke at this point.
  21. Argh, now I'm kicking myself for not picking Suzuki before Blackburn. Bad strategery on my part.
  22. I guess I should have specified. Suzuki is a better defensive catcher than Napoli. I thought that was clear.
