    I was never a Miley fan, his ERA/WHIP have been trending up and he was pitching in the NL West. I didn't like the extension, especially considering he hadn't even made one start with the team and would have to adjust to a new league. That being said, this isn't a move that will kill the team, and there is no way in hell he is going to be this awful all year. Obviously now the extension looks horrible, but I would give it a little longer before fully judging.

    I wouldn't mind it as long as Philly ate a lot of the money and Sox didn't have to give up any top level prospects. Papelbon is still a very good closer.

    Nice to see the Wiz make quick work of Toronto. I can't put into words how positive Paul Pierce has been for this team. It goes far beyond just stats. He has really helped Wall, Beal and especially Otto Porter. On top his leadership, his trash talking of Toronto and backing it up by throughout the series hitting clutch 3's was awesome. This is two years in a row, on two different teams that Pierce has s*** on Toronto on and off the court.
