    yeszir, the poster had the voice of the guy I knew as "Timlin in the 8th" and he didn't abuse me when I replied to him...I think that I knew him. Either way, the conduct was unacceptable. Good call banning him. :thumbsup:

    Timlin in the 8th was banned yesterday evening. He's a guy I've known at other sites, unless somebody is cloning his name, and he's actually a knowledgeable and devout Red Sox fan, but he can be a true ******* and he was posting as if he had consumed 15-21 alcoholic beverages. I like the moderation team at Talksox.

    I'd remind everybody that Pettitte and Mussina seem not to suck this year. If one looks at the Yankees' second-half performance from 1996 onward it correlates inversely with their first-half record. That's not a fluke: Steinbrenner and Cashman will spend whatever it takes to keep the Yankees in contention. Regard this as a horror movie. Until the creature dies three times, it's not yet finished.
