I wouldn't be surprised to see St. Louis show some interest. I wouldn't give him away for anything though. Does he have options left? Oh and I fully expect the Yanks to sign Overbay.

He's making improvements, but from what I've seen that is his weaker part in hitting right now.

I don't think it has a major effect on when he arrives, just that the media is probably chomping at the bit for the possible story.

From what I can see Bradley can get over extended on inside pitches and has whaffed at some breaking pitches, but also hit a few hard. I'm guessing first adjustment SP make to him is to really pitch him inside until he proves he can keeps his hands in and get the barrel on the ball. idk if he starts the season in Boston or they wait two weeks, all I know is we probably don't have to wait too long for his arrival. I also agree the National media is going to be all over him if he comes and catches fire. He literally the perfect seg way to any discussion about Robinson anniversary and what not.

This seems like an old style Yankees "name" grab. The only difference in Wells and probably the 20 OF that will be available before opening day its you know his name. Jacko do they really have no OF prospects that have some measure of upside that could have taken this spot? I know they have some young OF's low in the minors but they must have 1 or 2 guys in AAA that of some measure of upside? I mean for the Sox I'd rather see Nava start then trade for Wells.

It's not just the Yankees, any ML player hurt during the WBC salary will be covered by the WBC. The Dodgers are collecting on Ramirez as well.

Against inferior pitching for the most part. I can't wait for the kid to get to Boston. But it's obvious his offensive game still needs development.

Bogaerts needs time in the minors. His plate discipline leaves something to be desired currently.

Bradley is having a great Spring. The guys covering the game certainly have a man crush with all the "Legend of Jackie" every time the camera was on him lol You would think they have never seen anyone hit .400 in ST

I could get that if he was LHH. And where was this money earlier in the off season? They could have picked up a decent OF for 2/12-13M. They pinch their pennies and then splurge on Wells? It's just weird imo.

So just because they bring him up they should keep him there no matter of he's struggling and or an everyday spot might being available just because? Dude that's what options are for. So guys can go back down and work on things that may have been exposed at the ML level. JBJ will stick if he's producing. If he struggles and is not helping the ML club he will be sent down. Pretty cut and dry. To waste his options and keep him on the roster if he's not producing is retarded.

Keep him as I'm sure Iggy will hit a wall eventually and will need some days off. Drew might be able to come in as a Utility type. Ya I got on this kick really early on this off season and I think it has a legitimate shot at happening.

Ya it just doesn't make a lot of sense. You would think they would have a guy in AAA that could do that. Also it's getting close to roster crunch across the league, you would have thought their be some players available that could give you that production at the fraction of a price.

It's not even 20 games, It's like 12 days in April. lol dojji and that's if he does good. First 0-15 slump and Cherries nuts will be going on the block for believing the kid was going to be able to slide right in at the ML level after only playing at AA In the end I think Bradley is on the team to start and heads back to AAA when Ortiz comes back if there is no other everyday spot available.
