Crisp- If they traded him I wouldn't cry(also wouldn't be surprised if he thrived in another city), but I won't fault the FO for holding onto him at this point.
Drew- Listen you can all talk about Drew being a nancy boy, if it wasnt for a freak injury(hit on wrist by pitch) the guys last 3 seasons would have been at 140+, which in todays game is nice. Everyone thought the guy would not give his all and lolly gag around, instead he didn't, he ran balls out into a wall just like Trot would have( and if the same thing happened to Trot that happened to Drew most of you would be giving him a free pass because of the effort), now because he played all out he fd his back up, and I defy anyone who has seen the replay to say that s*** didn't hurt or it wouldn't have messed up your back, we want to call him a pansy ass. You can't have the s*** both ways. I for one was already giving the guy a 1 yr handicap. Hes a career National league guy, there for hasn't played in most AL parks or faced any AL pitchers on a regular basis. Beckett even tho a pitcher went threw the same process last season. Everyone bitched and moaned because he struggle at times, While Hanley played great and Annibal threw a no no(btw hes sitting in the minors cause he was ineffective, in the national league). Now look at Beckett, we are reeping the benifits of him adjusting to the AL after one season. I wasn't expecting a hole lot from Drew in yr 1, yr 2 is were I want to see the numbers.
Romero- Ya hes a bum, not sure what they can do with him tho....
Lugo- Is stealing bases and knocking in runs, he just doesn't seem to beable to hit when no ones on base. As long as he knocks in runs, scores runs, and steals bases when hes needed to, then I think the Avg.(which isnt a great stat to judge someone by as we all have come to know) will come up. Hes playing a decent SS as well. A move in the batting order might help.
Dougie- Were stuck with him until Wake no longer pitcher, or we find another catcher that can catch the Knuckler and maybe hit .260, until then there really is no other option, unless we don't pitch Wake, and as he is a nice innigs eater on most nights, Id rather see him pitch then not.
